a sketch for a comic idea, With this comic taking place 7 years after Tears of the Kingdom, and Link decides to visit Sidon with the newest member of his and Zelda's family. Their daughter Mipha, with Link wanting to introduce the two.

However learning Link named her Mipha, made him recall a memory of his short time in an alternative time to save his sister. Despite knowing that it was temporarily, he enjoyed seeing her again, but as Terako was sending him back to his original time. Mipha told them she was certain they would meet again.

Thus this little comic came to mind.

Gift

Drabble for @legendoflinkficfight based on @deuynndoodles’s prompt: Explore Sidon's reaction to the events of Age of Calamity and his relationship with Mipha.

Seeing Mipha is surreal. She is beautiful, strong, gracious, and kind. She is just as powerful as he remembers. She speaks softly, but her words hold the weight of a thousand suns.

Every moment with her is a gift. Her time was far too short, his time with her even more so.

Sidon remembers the helplessness. He remembers being too small, too young, to make a difference. She wanted to save the world. She was—is—his world.

The spear points at her. Grief claws at his heart, but hope lifts up his soul. He is consumed with longing and fury and rage.

“I will not allow you to take her again!”

It’s literally him using his water manipulation talent. 🤣 In like the silliest way possible.

Mipha summons and glides along water like an absolute queen of grace and Sidon is just, “I’mma surf on a SHARK” because he’s the most extra of kings. Ten out of ten. I love it.
