“IT’S just a little holly~” Aoba sang, voice laced with child-like excitement as he hanged said plant on the front of the door. “Come on, don’t tell me you don’t know about Christmas as well?”
VALENTINES? He’d be understanding. He can’t imagine it being such a popular practice around here, now that he thinks about it. But Christmas is a holiday taught around the world, right? One way or another, however, he wishes to celebrate it even here.
DON’T judge him; Christmas is just the one holiday he is extremely giddy about.
“SEE?” he pointed to the small wreath of green that’s moderately decorated with red. “It’s not that big a deal.” No, Mink wasn’t being a grump; Aoba was just being a little too enthusiastic. Then Aoba took another plant (of a light and lush green), lightly waving it in front of the other. “You know what this is?”
“I do know. I just never bothered celebrating it.”
After all, most of his years comprised of things that had nothing to do with the cheer and joy and warmth that the holiday contained. Now that he had the time to enjoy the little things, the thought of Christmas never really crossed his mind. He never had anyone to celebrate with and the thought was... pleasant at best.
And with Aoba standing in front of him with a bright smile and a plant to dangle had him give second thoughts. He couldn’t help but look at the green and red with a slight arch of the brow, tongue clucking no sooner as he shook his head.
What was with that anyways?
“No. What is it?”
