After the raid, Essie told her parents about what she'd seen. Let's just say they didn't take it well, and made Essie swear to never speak of what she saw that day. The Zoë family were also questioned in relation to Hange having been seen attacking Zeke, but since it wasn't clear which one of them had been the true traitor, they were let off with a warning, after swearing they knew nothing related to the incident. Essie had to take a break from warrior training to heal her injuries, but has since gone back. She has had to take her training more lightly, though, which has affected her score.
