tyra started out as just a self insert in drawings to show love for my faves, the change to an actual, somewhat lore adhering oc was gradual and i'm still tweaking their design and lore all th time! tho her resemblance to myself still remains :^3
anger?:
up until around age 16-17, tyra (ty at this point) is almost never seen angry; because he just doesn't feel it, not having the mental strength to allow himself to. fearing confrontation and wanting to people please to a fault are the biggest contributors to this.
after years of combat and grief they develop a backbone and some bitterness. i think this anger would be difficult for them to hide, with the lack of coping skills of it being kinda uncharted emotional territory for them.
tyrei draw-ins?:
for tyra altho the attraction to reiner was initially from his popularity, their draw-in to him was from their ability to see through the cracks in the mask of his likeable persona. ty wanted to know what drove him to maintain it, wanted to learn the strength it took to uphold a version of yourself you aspired to be, even if you weren't quite it, so that they could apply it to themself.
for reiner it was the peculiarity of ty, how they stepped forward only with the intent of helping others, in a greedy, selfish and fear-filled world. it almost angered him how little regard they had for themself, and he came to find this wasn't only the feeling of the "soldier" in him.
tyra's worst experience?:
loving reiner LOL between the lies and trauma and walls he puts up, even in their happily-ever-after, he is such a difficult man to care for 💔 but she would do it all over again.

It was Thursday. Your favorite day of the week. Why was it your favorite day of the week? Because it was date night. Ever since you and Reiner started dating a little over 6months ago, the two of you decided it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a weekly date night. And this semester, it happened to land on a Thursday, the one day of the week both of you were done with classes and extra-curriculars by 6 PM.
You stood in front of the mirror, looking at the outfit you picked out. You were wearing Reiner’s favorite colors, something you almost always did on date night. And this week, it had been Reiner’s turn to plan the date. He had mentioned things regarding either an aquarium or a planetarium, two places you loved dearly.
It was 6:52 PM when you heard a knock on your door, and you beam, rushing over to open it. In all his tall, blond glory, stands your boyfriend; wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, white sneakers, and his red letterman’s jacket, holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers. He had a fond smile on his face as he took a step forward, presenting the flowers to you.
“My love,” he smiles, leaning down to press his lips onto yours. His stubble lightly scratches your skin, but you don’t mind. It had taken some convincing for him to actually keep it, after convincing him that you did indeed like it, and it made him more handsome than he already was.
“Rei,” you smile, kissing him back. His lips meld so perfectly against yours as he takes his free arm, wrapping it around your waist to pull you closer. Your hands slide up his chest to loop together at the nape of his neck, keeping yourself planted exactly where you want to be.
You try to deepen the kiss more, but he pulls away, a smirk resting on his pretty, now saliva-covered lips. “You keep this up and we’re gonna be here all day, pretty.”
You let out a huff and pull away, taking the flowers from him. “Let me put these away and then we can go.”
He hums in agreement, watching you empty the vase on your dorm’s kitchen table of the ones he got you last week, secretly setting aside some of the flowers to press, as you’d done with all the bouquets he’s gotten you. You refill the water and dump in the power, setting the flowers in the vase, a small smile on your face as you admire them.
He’s already holding your purse with one arm, the other reaching out for you, wriggling his fingers to hold onto your hand. “Ready?” You nod, taking his hand.
You lead him out of your dorm, locking the front door behind you. “Where are we heading today, Rei?”
“There’s a new planetarium in Jinae, so I thought we could go, if you’re okay with that. Apparently it has a little dinner theater, so we can eat there, too!” he beams, proud of what he’s planned.
Your face lights up with awe, “Well then let’s go! What are we waiting for!” you whine, pulling him to his red sedan, his laugh bubbling out from behind you.
You make quick work of getting in the car, bouncing your leg in excitement as he gets in and starts driving. He put on your shared playlist, one full of songs you wanted the other to hear, thinking they’d like it. His was a mix of anything from The Eagles to Twenty One Pilots, and you listened to just about any genre under the sun, so your playlist was a perfect mix of the two of you.

The drive to the planetarium wasn’t very long, allowing the two of you to quickly get situated and find parking.
“You, sir, are the best boyfriend someone could ever ask for,” you smile, pulling him into a kiss as he helps you out of the car.
He kisses you back, wrapping his arms around your waist, fingers digging softly into your skin. He whispers your name softly, swiping his tongue across your bottom lip before gently invading your mouth. He groans softly, one of his hands sliding down to your ass and squeezing it gently, making you giggle.
“Rei!” you huff, pulling away.
“Mm…just a little more,” he smiles, leaning in again.
“If I give you another kiss, then you and I aren’t gonna make it inside the planetarium, mister.”
He lets out a soft whine and pulls away. “Fine,” he pouts, taking your hand. “but we will be finishing this later.”
“Agreed,” you grin, finally walking with him, into the planetarium.
When you step inside, you’re both just in awe. The two story building is full of ornate displays of the solar system and other galaxies, interactive exhibits with moon rocks and the surface of Mars, and so many others that have you walking around with childlike wonder in your eyes.
“It’s all so beautiful, Reiner.” you murmur, looking at a large model of Jupiter.
“Yeah, it is.” he smiles, looking at you.
“Okay,” he huffs. “You ready to eat dinner?”
“Yes, please!” you hum, squeezing his hand.
He leads you to the back corner of the museum to a restaurant called Starlight Bistro. The interior is beautiful, decorated to look like you’re in space. Different sections of the restaurant were decorated to look like different planets.
“Welcome!” the cheery hostess smiles. You squint, reading her nametag: Star.
“Star,” you hum, “how fitting.”
“Why, thank you.” she grins. “Just the two of you?”
Reiner nods, “Yep, just us.”
“Perfect. Do you have a preference for which planet you’d like to sit at?” she asks.
Your jaw drops, and you look over to Reiner, who’s giving you the softest smile you’ve ever seen on him. “You pick, angel.”
“I wanna sit on Venus!” you gasp.
Star chuckles and nods. “Right this way!”
“I love you.” you mutter to Reiner, unable to stop yourself from smiling.
“I love you more.” he smiles, pressing a kiss to your temple before following Star.
The section you were in, as promised, looked like the surface of Venus. It looked like a hellish, volcanic landscape. It was perfect, and you couldn’t help but let out a squeal.
“It’s too good!” you laugh, shaking him.
He chuckles, pulling out your chair for you as you sit down.
“So, I’m taking you like the place?” he smiles, resting his chin on his hand.
Your face lights up with glee as you nod, confirming that you do love it. “Oh, Rei, it’s perfect. I don’t know how many more times I can say that tonight, but I really do mean it!”
He’s got that fond smile on his face again, the same one that’s been giving you butterflies for the last 6 months.
“Stop looking at me like that,” you murmur, completely flustered.
“Like what?” he smiles, his voice teasing.
“Like…that,” you whisper, motioning to him.
“Oh, whatever,” you huff, grabbing the menu in front of you to look at it.
Reiner just lets out a chuckle, grabbing the menu in front of him.
“Spaghetti and meteors, huh?” Reiner smiles. “I think that one sounds quite stellar,” he hums, snickering at his own joke.
“You’re such a dork,” you giggle.
“Your dork, yes. What are you gonna get, baby?”
“Cosmic chicken alfredo.” you smile, setting the menu down. “With Stellar lemonade.”
“Yes, captain,” Reiner winks.
Star comes over again, taking your orders. When she leaves, Reiner reaches across the table, taking your hand.
“When’s the movie supposed to start?” you ask, rubbing your thumb on his knuckles. “And what movie is it?”
Reiner looks at his phone, checking the time. “In about 20 minutes, and I’m pretty sure it’s Star Trek.”
You squeal. “Oh my goodness, really! Thank you, Rei! I think this may be the best date we’ve ever been on!”
Star comes out with your food just as the movie starts, the lights dimming as you hear the words: “Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.”
You eat quickly, opting to then move to the other side of the table to sit by Reiner. His arm immediately wraps around you, hand resting on your waist and keeping you close. He’s not really paying attention to the movie, just watching your reactions to the movie. Yes, he’s watched this with you before, but he’ll never get over all the faces and happy noises you make while you watch it each time.

“So how was that, baby?” Reiner asks on the drive home.
“Oh, Reiner, we need to go back again soon! I feel like I didn’t get to look at all the exhibits as much as I could have!” you pout. “Not saying that I didn’t enjoy watching Star Trek but…there was an exhibit with the Mars Rover.”
He chuckles, resting his hand on your thigh and squeezing gently. “We can go back anytime you want, baby, just say the word.”
“I love you,” you smile, bringing his hand to your lips and kissing his knuckles.
“I know.” he hums. He looks over at you, a grin on his lips. “Ha, did you get it?”
You roll your eyes, unable to hold back a smile. “Yes, my love, I did get it.”
His car comes to a stop in front of your dorm. You’re on the bottom floor so he helps you get out and walks you to the door.
“I really did have a good time tonight, Rei. Thank you for putting so much effort into the date, into us. You really know how to make me feel special.” you whisper, reaching up to wrap your arms around his neck.
He smiles, grabbing your waist. “Just for you, baby. You deserve the world, all the galaxies, and the stars in the sky.”
He leans in, pressing his lips onto yours once again. You smile, immediately melting into the kiss. Your fingers tangle in his hair as he pulls you closer, deepening the kiss, his tongue running along the seam of your mouth.
Ding!
You pull away, looking at your phone. Your roommates texted in the groupchat:
Sasha: Hey, we’re all out tonight, so the apartment is all yours ;)
Pieck: We can be home in two hours if that’s good enough?
You smile, putting your phone away, and pulling out your keys. “How about we finish what we started?”
Reiner’s gaze turns dark, a hungry grin creeping upon his lips as you unlock and open your door. “After you, pretty. Let’s see if we can get another noise complaint, hm?”
