Getting home from a tiring work day, still having to make dinner. Halfway through, they come home too, tired as well but ready to help with the prep and clean up. Ranting about your day a little, knowing they're on your side. Sharing laughs and sweet looks as dinner gets ready, easing into your perfect routine. Having them tell you to go run a bath or whatever else you would like to do to unwind and they'll take care of the dishes when you're done. Tomorrow there will be leftovers. Comfortable pajamas, a small snack, a dark room and a movie you've both seen a dozen times. Cuddling under the blanket, yawning and barely making it to the end before going to bed together, more cuddles under the sheets. You can face another day head on because they are right there with you. And don't you know, you're their very reason, too ♥️
