Women have always had a role in the United States military conflicts. Today I want to highlight the story of 2LT Nichols @nicholsrahh . Her story caught my attention because she joined the Army later in her life, she commissioned at 30 with 2 kids and a past career in law enforcement. She’s an Alumni of Stephen F. Austin State University ROTC, and flies Apaches for the 1-149th ARB out of Ellington Field in Houston, TX. Currently she’s in Primary phase flying the LUH72 Lakota before her transition to the advanced airframe. She says the Army is the best decision she ever made. “Never let anyone discourage you from achieving the goals you are passionate about. You only get one life, live it!” said 2LT Nichols. I’m sure her story will inspire others. #armyfresh #militaryfreshnetwork @usarmy @goarmy @usarec #warriorswanted #apachepilot #goarmy #usarmy #armystrong #armyrecruiting #america #americansoldier #usarmysoldier #pilot #armyreserve #puteminboots #aviation #womenempowerment #usarec #armyrecruiter #apache #inourboots #meetyourarmy #knowyourmil #militarywomen #boise #idaho #mcall #kuna #idahome (at Hendersonville, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwuepTlBVB8/?igshid=12d87kc0m57c2
