Somehow gay youth, including Mike, have found solace in a HIT piece about the "losers." When they find out how much IT has helped, they themselves find peace with the situation. Although Eddie is still pissed at the writer who thinks he's hot shit, who steals stories from aspiring writers and has been to court SEVERAL times because of it. Eddie has thought about suing this writer, but as a fan of Jackie Gleason, he remembers that the comedian wanted to sue Hanna-Barbara for ripping off The Honeymooners with The Flintstones, but "didn't want to be known as the man who took Fred Flintstone off the air".
