An animatic inspired by @allbeendonebefore's @athensandspartaadventures series, which I highly recommend.

Here we have her OCs, Athens and Thebes. There's is having an existential crisis and Athens, being the helpful lad (no irony) that he is and a center of philosophy in the classical world, is helping him solve them.

Also, I don't know how to explain this, but I feel like Vasilis Kakouras and Haris Romas' voices fit these characters perfectly.

The audio is from an iconic Greek series, called "Of Constantine and of Helen" ("Konstantinou Kai Elenis"). If you find any episode with English subtitles, I recommend it to you, because it's just hilarious.

i thought I'd challenge myself and try to draw an ancient olive press and I got frustrated, haha. Here is the horrible man himself who has also just collapsed in defeat having dropped his sun hat and lost all his helpers?

What I say my sound weird, but I am gonna say it anyway. So, I noticed that:

Athens' main colour is green while Sparta's is red

Sparta puts huge emphasis on bravery

Athens is described, at least by you (and by Blue from OSP) as being extremely ambitious

One of Athena's animal symbol was (besides the owl) the snake

Athens' two mythical kings were half-human, half-snake creatures

Athens' element was water (as it was a huge naval power back in Ancient Greece)

Are we sure that Sparta wasn't the Gryffindor and Athens wasn't the Slytherin of the greek city-states?
