Emil smirks, already knowing that he's going to give in. That doesn't mean he won't make the Dane work for it, though.

Once Emil gathers what he needs, he makes his way downstairs, where the Dane is already prepared and waiting, looking like a dog about to go for a walk in the way he's bouncing on his heels.

When he catches sight of the Icelander, Matthias tugs him forward into a warm hug, "Takk, Emil."

Emil laughs softly, happiness warming his body at just how grateful his Dane is for this, "Of course. I already knew I was going to say yes the minute you asked." Emil says with a small smirk as he grabs his keys and pushes open the door.

He makes it a few steps down the path outside before realizing that Matthias isn't following him. When he turns back, he sees the Dane with a stunned expression on his face and he fights the urge to snicker. "Come on! Don't you want to go?"

That shocks Matthias into motion and he quickly catches up with Emil. "You mean…? You made me do all that begging for nothing?"

Emil grins, lightly shaking his head, "Not for nothing, no. I wanted to see how much you wanted to go, and besides, it was cute."

Matthias stops in his tracks, a light blush on his face as he processes that. Noticing the Icelander getting further away, he once again has to catch up, a large grin on his face.

"Alright, then." He says, understanding the other's reasons and Emil turns to him and gives a soft, fond smile, one that nearly makes Matthias melt. Their fingers brush and tangle, the two continuing on their path to the skating rink hand-in-hand.
