Rant ship

Oh, I see a lot of ship bashers in the fandom, I have to admit I am a hypocrite since I do these before. But now it is really getting out of hand! First of all, people have different opinions with the ships and that does not mean you force your ship to the person who doesn't like it, bashing is also a problem. Mainly it is a problem for people who hates the specific ship...bless him/her. Straight ships → bashing the girl. Calling her a slut, whore, bitch or any hurtful words. Get a dictionary and look up what those words mean please. Hungary being shipped with Prussia, I see nothing wrong with the ship. And calling Prussia a pervert for touching her breast is not an excuse Seychelles being shipped with France/England. Same, nothing wrong, France raised Seychelles up and England colonized her, that is not an excuse for calling her a slut! Ukraine shipping with other guys just because she has a gigantic boobs doesn't make sense, her boobs represent a large agricultural land in Ukraine. Everybody has preferences, so if you disagree or dislike it. Then keep it to yourself and let go of the feeling. Ok, to hetalia fans who keep on complaining about pairings and how some are not canon. Hetalia is very very much about relationships, because we're talking about the nations as people, and therefore their history is important. For example, if we're talking about the Austrio-Hungarian Empire from a human standpoint, then as humans they were legitimately married, because the two nations were joined in a union. Its important not to forget, that technically, there are not any uncanon pairings in Hetalia. Even if it may not be in the comic, there is history between all the nations, and therefore, any pairing DOES have grounds. Secondly, if you are going to claim to understand one of these characters, please actually research the history. For example, Canada is NOT weak. Canada turned the tide of WW2 at Vimy Ridge, and won recognition for being brave soldiers, and good tacticians. Spain is not a pedophile, he was a father figure to South Italy and Belgium when they were weak, and protected them and helped them to grow strong enough to be independent. Seriously, just... know your characters. These pairing fights are frustrating, and cause people who actually care about the history to grow weary of Hetalia.

Since my earliest times in the Hetalia fandom, I noticed one thing: many fangirls hate the female characters. Well, not me: I loved Hungary and Belarus from the first time I saw them and kinda like the others too (especially Ukraine and Wy).

After a little time, I discovered the reason: YAOI! They're girls, so no pairing with them in would be yaoi! Also, they get between their favourite pairings! Ex: Seychelles get between France and England, Belgium between Spain and Romano...

But, I also noticed that a big part of the Hetalia OC's are female, and they're paired with a lot of guys (for some reasons, usually Germany, America and England...)

So, my question is: WHY? Why do Hetalia fangirls hate female characters because they "ruin" their favourite yaoi pairings but create female OC's to pair with their favourite characters?
