What are your favourite festivals?

Tyrol: I quite like Krampusläufe, they're fun.

Salzburg: Me too, its fun to run away and tease them! But i also like the Maibaum and Staatsfeiertag and the Raunächte

Styria: I quite like Dorffeste, they're little festivals held in villages!

Carinthia: I like the Sonnenwendfeuerbrannd, the athmosphere is nice.

Lower Austria: I'm also all for Krampusläufe, I like the atmosphere.

Upper Austria: I'm also a basic bitch, no, sorry, that was my tourettes, haha, So, what i was about to say was that I also love Krampusläufe, but i really, really like Fasching!

Vienna: Oh gott, theres so much that I like! I really like the Donaufest, its celebrated on the Donauinsel, really great, then theres Nikolaus tag, Krampusläufe and Perchtenläufe!

Vorarlberg: I like the Raunächte too, but Christmas is also nice, I sometimes talk with Finland about iT

Burgenland:...The Krampusläufe scare me, but i also like the Staatsfeiertag, its nice.

(as for Mun, he likes the Krampusläufe too, but he also likes the Dorffest.)

Elaborate on the Austrian states 👁👁

I have a full ass post about them on my ask blog, @nine-states-of-chaos, but it's really long, so I'll make it quick

1. Vorarlberg: transgender, short, homosexuality is his vibe.

2. Salzburg: Pansexual Pan romantic. Chubby queen, has a farm. Is tall.

3. Tyrol: strict asexual, kinda obsessed with workout????? Tall. Great friends with Germany. m u s c l e.

4. Styria: short chubby Boi. Can't remember his sexuality, sorry.

5. Carinthia: chubby. Might have Parkinson.

6&7. Upper and Lower Austria: Twin powaaaaa. Very different personalities. One has tourettes and tg either had ADHD. Lower Austria likes to carry Vienna in his back.

8. Burgenland: trans Boi dude. Scrawny. Victim of Sibling teasing. Has depression and an anxiety disorder.

9. Vienna: short queen. The oldest! Likes to get a rise out off others. Especially the other capitals. Kinda snobby.

Mirror week day 3 - AU

I decided to sketch some character designs for today's prompt. It's a coffee shop au, focusing on the 3 1p/2p pairs I'll be using in mirror week this year.

Janez (1p Slovenia), is the coffee shop's owner, who is trying to keep his coffee shop operational despite outside forces

Marko (1p Styria), is the always cheerful barista and the regulars' favourite coffee shop employee

Stjepan (1p Croatia) is the manager, Janez's right-hand man and the local coffee expert

Tomislav (2p Croatia) is a grumpy barista who doesn't like Janez's business practices, thinks he would be a better manager than Stjepan and is probably working with Jaša

Jaša (2p Styria) is the local businessman, who is trying to buy the coffee shop and change it into a faceless coffee shop chain

Primož (2p Slovenia) simply hates coffee and thinks it's the work of the devil, so he leaves grafitti saying stuff like 'I hate coffee', 'coffee is evil', 'coffee is the devil's juice' and more stuff like that on the front window of the coffee shop. He gives Marko, Stjepan and Tomislav a lot of unnecessary work.

Mirror week day 2 - Angst

I’m back, but this time with a different 1p/2p pair. 1p Styria, Marko, is a sweet guy while 2p Styria, Jaša,,,, not so much. He was based off what is pretty much a paramilitary group that started in Styria about one or two years ago (there’s more to him than that but that’s what made me start to think about him).

Today’s writing focuses on a Bad Ending type of events, which could be a possible result of the way Jaša currently interacts with the world.

Marko wanted to erase the smirk off his 2p’s face. Jaša was visibly enjoying himself, sitting on the podium, grinning slightly.

The main parliament room was round, with three rows of tables, rounded to fit its shape. The lower half of the wall was covered with wood and above the entrance which was behind Marko, there were windows that enabled the people in spectator room to watch the politicians do their job. The wall behind Jaša was hidden behind a decorative marble sculpture with their country’s coat of arms in the top right corner. Of course, there were no politicians in the room at the moment.

“What the actual fuck did you do?” he asked, trying to control his voice, ready to throw the granite cube he was holding into his cousin’s face as soon as he got the chance.

“Me?” Jaša chuckled. “I did nothing.”

“Yes, yes you did!” The granite cube was thrown in Jaša’s direction, but he dodged and the cube uselessly hit the table behind the other Styria.

His cousin snorted. “You missed.”

“Klinc te gleda,” Marko mumbled, pulling out the two knives he had stored in the sleeves of his knitted sweater.

“You don’t have the guts to actually use those.” His cousin snorted, fixing the black hat of the organization Jaša worked way too closely with for Marko’s taste.

To prove him wrong, Marko threw one of the knives at the podium, missing Jaša’s hand. He ran towards Jaša, intending to stab him, but his cousin dodged without really moving off the podium, grabbing the wrist of the hand Marko was holding the knife with and leaned a rainbow-coloured throwing knife under his chin.

“Slow down, sestrič.”

Marko nervously glanced down at the knife that was pressing against his skin, leaving the slightest of cuts as his head moved slightly.

“Jaša …”

“They were doing nothing to help us, did they?” Jaša’s grip on Marko’s wrist strengthened, and Marko had to let go of the knife he was holding.

“Jan is trying his best,” Marko protested, “He does his best all the time.”

“Did,” Jaša corrected Marko, an almost crazed look in his eyes accompanying his unsettling grin.

“Jaša … w-what …”

“Well,” he slowly started, “We’re not just regions anymore.”

“But … what about Jan and Primož?”

“Well, if I’m to take Janez’s place and you Primož’s, that makes them redundant.” Jaša’s voice was too nonchalant.

“WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY?!” Marko yelled. His usually already hot blood was boiling, but he was also terrified of the answer.

Jaša laughed. Marko’s question seemed to entertain him.

“Dead.”
