How do you see their dynamic? :0

I'm following your comic strips and I got curious x)

You know what, I actually saw that you used to have TurkIce as a NOTP, and I was a little worried when I posted the first part, and I was so pleasantly surprised when you reblogged it! Haha.

Putting words to how I see their dynamic is difficult for me. I guess I'm a big sucker for the "opposites attract" trope (as seen with Norway/Italy). I wrote a fic (orphaned) in 2014 where they're humans, I think, where it's mentioned that the Nordics were at a bar and Ice mentioned in passing that Turkey was hot, and then Den just fucking went straight up to Turkey and said, "Hey, my brother wants your body, you up for it?" and I don't know what happened next but that's how their relationship started.

So like, at first Ice just thinks Turkey is hot and is kind of like, "right, fuck it, I'm going out of my comfort zone" and asks him to go to bed with him, and finds that that uncomfort zone isn't so uncomfortable after all (which is fitting because the fic is called "Comfortable", haha). It's the kind of relationship that starts with sex and develops into romance, I think? Like finding little quirks about one another that they're surprised to realise they find endearing. Confessing stuff to one another that they've not confessed to anyone else in centuries, and comforting one another when they need it. Discovering that they can make each other laugh.

Turkey makes Ice's cold exterior melt a little, and Ice cools down Turkey's hot-headedness???? Is that anything?????? (me tapping the microphone) Hello??

Anyway, I have, like, at least six more comics about Ice introducing Turkey to the other Nordics. One of those comics is Fin asking Turkey what he likes about Ice specifically, and I think maaaaaybe I'm gonna write another one where Nor asks Ice what it is he likes about Turkey. Yeah, you know what, I think I should write that.

So, uhhh, how do I see their dynamic? Uhhhhhhhh... Hot young man thinks an older man is hot, discovers that the older man is younger than him, thinks this is hilarious, they both discover they're fucking dorks.

I also like the idea of Turkey making Ice feel confident in himself, at least in private. I imagine that after a while, Ice will be able to walk straight up to Turkey and give him hugs and kisses without being (very) self-conscious about it. And Turkey melts in Ice's hand, of course. Uh, ironically.
