7. What animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium?

I like seeing penguins at aquariums. Wedon't really have aquariums in my town I think but there is a like super famous one in Auckland called Kelly Tarltons. It's an awesome place and it was really fun. I remember seeing the penguins there and it was such a cool experience to see. I haven't been back in years but I'd like to go back some day.

6. Was there anything you meant to read, but never got to?

Oh hell yeah. I got Red, White and Royal Blue for my birthday and I still haven't read it. That first chapter is a good hook but my god does it not hook me.

18. How many books did you buy?

Just one this year I think. It was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I have a lot of thoughts about that book. I thought I bought the book Lady Midnight, but my Mum bought that for me.

20. What was your most anticipated release? Did it meet your expectations?

Probably Iron Widow. I haven't read it yet but I have heard great things about it. I do intend to read it at some point. It is up my ally and I am up for trying out different stories so I have hope for the book.

Vampire - Are you currently reading any books? If so, what book(s)?

Not currently reading any actual physical books. I don’t think I actually have in a LONG time. I was rereading one of my favourite series at the start of the year (Wicca by Cate Tiernan), but the stars suddenly unaligned, and the book has been sitting at my bedside since like... February/March.

I am, however, currently reading some fanfics. I’ve been making my way backwards through the entire Percalia tag in the AO3 Critical Role archive as I watch. I have less than 20 episodes of the show left, and a little less than half the tag left to go.

And, of course, several new fics started because of it.

10. do you play video games? if so, what games?

Sort of. I try intermittently, but I’m not very good. All my friends are gamers, though, and I watch them play though games, so I know a lot about them.

The only games I’ve been able to actually stick at a little bit is Sims and Minecraft. Mostly because I like making things and they require less coordination.

I did play a super cute indie game called To the Moon a few years back. Super cute. Made me cry.

I was tagged by @eighteenbelow and was going to send the obligatory “sorry, I don’t do these but you know that” message until I realized that this one isn’t asking for my favorite color or star sign or last thing I stepped in like the ones I usually see.  Plus, I get to make up my own questions to send to my victims--er--friends.  *rubs hands together evilly*

Have you ever played a musical instrument?  10 years of piano until I developed nerve problems in both arms and got tired of playing Chopsticks.

Where do you see yourself in ten years? Probably at some dead-end office job.  Unless my plushie store takes off.  So, yeah.  Office job -_-

Do you like any foods that are considered weird? I am so obsessed with oil-popped popcorn that Hubby’s co-workers and online gaming buddies (whom I have never met) know of my addiction.

What genres of movies do you typically like? My favorite movie is Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, if that tells you anything.

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up? Marine Biologist with a focus on sharks.  It didn’t work out when a) I live 4 hours from the ocean, b) I’m too poor for college, c) I have a fear of open water

What was your favourite subject at school? Ancient History and Anthropology

What kinds of things/coping strategies help calm you? ....popcorn.  Seriously.  I love that crap.

Classic Calendar Man or Kite-Man: which would you prefer as your new friend? The answer to this will always be Rainbow Raider.

Which rock or mineral is your favourite?  Tanzanite

Do you prefer coffee or tea?  At least 2 cups of coffee per hour.

What kinds of things do you like to collect?  I’ve been downsizing, so the only collection I have left is My Little Pony.  Still have a hundred or so of those...and original 1980s Voltron toys.  And fabric.  A lot of fabric.  So much fabric.  Seriously, help me.  I hoard fabric.
