How it feels to be (un)marked
I've never realized how while I'm only marked because I choose to be, women are always marked. I guess that's what it feels like to be unmarked. Which is sad that I didn't even recognize that I was unmarked, when women are marked by simply being born women. When I chose to mark myself I'm very intentional about it. I wear my "hipster" glasses. I wear unique clothing. I don't do it solely for others attention but it's certainly a factor
