My Querencia is the stage, the inevitable platform of performance that draws in the eyes of whoever's sitting in the audience. The power of the work that has been done on the stage only makes it more special than it already is because not only have I used the stage for numerous shows, talents, and events that are important to me, but everyone that came before me has too. And that just makes the stage a part of this surreal history that is not only the ATC but other companies, clubs, choirs, bands etc. The stage gives the performance a work space and it gives performers a place to show their dedication. For me, the stage has showcased everything I have worked so hard to achieve in 4 years at this school. After being on stage there's this overwhelming feeling of ecstacy that runs through you. Every song, every spoken word and every action that's been done in my querencia has a motivation behind it, a reason that it's being done, and that's another reason why I feel that it gives me a sense of belonging. There's no way to describe how it feels to be on stage to someone who's never been on one.
