Have You Ever Loved A Story So Much That You Relearn HTML And Set Up A Neocities Site Just So You Can Make And Share A Playable Wheel Of Fortune Board To Go Along With The Thematic Element Game Shows Play In The Story And Then Become Emotionally Devastated That You Can't Play It On Mobile So You Cry A Little?
YEAH ME NEITHER I"M NOT CRYING YOU"RE CRYING.
ANYWAY
something that I find absolutely delicious other than beautiful strangers on the internet making the base HTML that I can edit to my heart's content while crying at the beauty of indie web dev is when a couple hates each other as much as they love each other in the same breath.
Like- they literally see love as a game and hate when the other is winning and they NEED to get divorced so bad it will be so messy and so not worth it for them. so anyway here's a whole story about that and why they should get divorced
I'll take 'Why they should get divorced' for $500, Alex."
the moments before 12:00 am vst (vriska standard time) on 4/13/19 are gonna collectively be like waiting for the apocalypse to happen while noone even knows what the apocalypse is but you know the government is openly bragging about flying to the north pole to escape
Doing a special thing for the @possiblyastronautsproductions story drop this week and it's got me thinking.
People don't really like to admit that they can hold love and bitter resentment in the same hand. People tend to focus on one or the other, and I think some of my favorite media tends towards holding both in some strange form of equilibrium. Two seemingly contradictory forces, experienced in full and equal measure. Stay tuned for drop this week!
One of my work in progress stories is so strange to me because it's an apocalypse base with the Tallahassee album by The Mountain Goats and the Loki tv series thrown in there with The Italian Job all rolled into a The Amazing Devil song and drenched in 2008 unreleased Mumford & Sons sauce.
Frick-Loki is the MCU apocalypse show.
A year ago I wrote that "sometimes it feels like there is an apocalypse happening inside of me" and I stand by that.
Do you predict your own behavior to such a degree that you set yourself up for success in the future? You may be eligible to survive the apocalypse, see rules within.
