It had been a simple commission.
Kalopsia:
Val shoved her knees up closer to her chest and tried to keep her feet from slipping off the edge of the couch.
Apocalypse (that’s what I’m calling it for now):
The city is dead.
The Sacrifices We Make:
The air was cold, colder than it usually was.
Assassin (title for now):
“Who do you think they’re going to choose?”
Witches (title also pending):
I had only stopped walking for a moment, pausing for a mere second to rub away the phantom feeling of a spider crawling across my arm.
Otherworld:
It’s funny how people used to think magic was just a bedtime story told to little kids right before they went to sleep.
Coffee and Bagels:
I started my morning with the usual cup of coffee and one of those bagels from down the street.
