Children of Apollo and Helios (the sunny ones apply to Helioskids)
Their eyes hold the intensity of a thousand burning suns
They can manipulate sunlight like it's physical.
Lightsabers. That's it. That's the point.
Adding onto Lightsabers. They dont need a handle for the lightsabers. They can physically hold it in their hand.
Light manipulation isn't as rare as you'd think. They just keep it on the DL (down low)
When sunlight hits their eyes, no matter what colour they are, there's golden flecks inside of them. Like tiny suns in their irises.
Their hair has a golden shine in sunlight and a dulled essence when the sun is not out.
Since moonlight is a reflection of the sun, their hair and eyes do The Thing in the moonlight too, just to a lesser degree and more silvery, cause the moon is silver.
Arrow-crafting is a common hobby. Its annoying, for those for whom archery isn't a skill, its a fucking nightmare of a challenge. Like they struggle to draw a bow without stumbling and is legally banned from using a bow woth actual arrows on them that aren't rubber tipped even after hours of practicing but can craft arrows - arrowhead, spine, fetching, nocks and all - in under 5 minutes.
It's comical, bc they usually sell those arrows to their siblings for a price. Sometimes, they act like normal siblings and extort LOADS of favours or arrows put of their younger siblings (fun fact: my older brother extorted a shit ton of money from me which made me broke when I was 8 cause he got a book series from my favourite author for his birthday and wouldn't let me read them unless I bought it for like £5 each [each book itself might've been like half that price individually])
They'll pick on their siblings the most. Even if there's only like 4 of them (for Apollo Cabin: Will, Austin, Kayla and my OC). Less siblings isn't going to stop them from being jerky older siblings. But if you upset one? You're dead.
Deader than dead.
And some campers, esp the newer ones, are so mean. Cause they're the equivalent of the First Class Campers (those there during BoM) back when Percy arrived at Camp.
And the First Class Campers all look a these newer ones who make jokes at new Ares campers being cowards, not realising that's what they were at first in BoM, or talking about "find a bridge and jump off it) not knowing that Apollo cabin died on the bridge.
