Hudson Williams and Dylan O'Brien to star in Sofia Banzhaf's thriller "Apparatus"

"Apparatus" follows struggling ride-share driver Tyler, who believes his luck has turned after charismatic entrepreneur JP lures him in with a dream opportunity, only to be pulled into a violent downward spiral. Filming is scheduled to run in Toronto from March 30th through May 12th (via etalk)

just remembered hudson saying this in shut up evan podcast and how hes currently doing this in apparatus as tyler

this also reminds me what Director Pedro Almodóvar said recently about jacob eroldi: “I’ve been wondering whether he’s just a sex symbol or a respected actor,”.

in this current climate where everything is so vapid and aesthetics are at the forefront it's good to see actors who are not scared to explore and venture into roles that they know won't give them accolades for being "the hottest thing in the world" bc cinema isnt about that you can be the it boy/girl in your day to day life but your roles should always be challenging from one to the other

that is to say I don't blame actors for not taking these roles bc if you look at people's reaction to the set pics of apparatus theres a clear reason why actors are scared to take roles like that it's our society at fault bc for some people being ugly is truly the worst thing that you can be which is so depressing...these are also the same people btw who get mad when actors can't move their forehead bc of botox as if THEY DIDNT SET THE SYSTEM UP
