It's time to conclude this season 4 with a doll license that its fans ardently miss: "Ever After High"!
For Raven, the appeal of her redesign lay in contrasting her with Apple White. That's why I straightened and slightly shortened her hair.
I wanted to give her Legacy Day line a bit of a wedding dress feel, because that's an essential aspect of the happiness promised by her destiny.
I wanted to play on the non-conformist side of Wonderland by giving Madeline's outfit a slightly non-binary feel. I'm not claiming to have mastered the codes associated with this gender identity, and I apologize if I misuse them, but I think it would be a good basis for a character like Madeline.
I wanted to give Briar's everyday outfit a slightly sportier look. But I was afraid of straying too far from the character, so I tried to find a compromise. I also cut her hair because, in my mind, it will have plenty of time to grow while she sleeps. For her Legacy Day Line, I was partly trying to give it a bit of a dressing gown feel.
Again, I changed her hairstyle because I think Ashlynn's original one is a bit too wild. I decided to do something humble yet elegant, and distinctive enough to set her apart from the other girls. For her Legacy Day line, I again opted for a simple but well-executed style, enhanced with small touches of yellow-orange. It might sound silly, but I think making the character obsessed with shoes just because she's Cinderella's daughter is a bit of a cheap characterization.
