Sushi: Y'know now that you mention it. I've always been thinking of... I don't know... swimming to the Isle of Armor and reuniting Lexi with her home and real parents? I don't know. I don't even know how to swim there. *A figure appears on the shore. It's seems to be a wandering shiny Crawdaunt* ???: So you want to get to the Isle of Armor? I can help with that. (@askappos) Appos@The Host Appos had finally managed to tune in on the car's radio and the built in phone speaker thing. "Hi, my name is Appos! What's your favorite story you've ever shared?"

"Thanks for calling in, Appos." They continued on with:

TW: Child neglect

“Theres a tale about the Zapdos found in Galar, tales that it is the child of the original Zapdos, one of the three legendary birds. It is said these three birds have unimaginable power, and that Zapdos used some of its to create itself a child.

Its said this child was the perfect child, it never fussed or fought, always kept its thoughts to itself and when bringing up things that upset it would do it in a calm and collected manner.

This child had a shadow, a shadow alone in the world. It was the only shadow that could think, that could feel. The only one that could long. It longed to feel the love of a parent, to have free will.

This shadows wish would be granted one night, when it wished on a shooting star. That morning, it was its own being, the dark, separate from the child. The Zapdos ended up accepting the dark as its own.

But things didnt go the way the dark had hoped. The dark was not treated the same as the child, it was treated much more like a servant, and was given less affection and attention then the child. Left to its own devices, not as carefully watched or fretted over as the child was.”

They stopped, collecting themself for a moment before continuing on.

“In an attempt to get Zapdos attention, the dark would rival the child, trying to do better then it. Zapdos disliked this sudden change, and punished the dark by taking away its free will again, the Zapdos from that point on could control the darks every move.

Eventually, the child grew up. It moved away to Galar. But the dark remained, ignored and used by Zapdos to do its bidding until it sent it away to distant lands to do the tasks it never felt inclined to do.”

They didnt say anything for a few moments. “I may have changed a few things from the original. Perhaps I could rerun the original story after the AMA.”
