The original apres- flags I found on the pride-flags DA were a bit of a mess, so I streamlined them to all use the same format as the - I’m assuming original - apressexual flag.

Man lately (and with that I mean the past year) I've been getting more involved with the aspec community and I just want to voice my gratitude for you all.

Thank you for being a safe space. For reminding me that you can care without love. That I my lack of love for other people still makes me human. Thank you for showing me that relationships are only important if you want them to be. That it's okay to priotitize or favour some types of relationships or attractions. That I don't need to have relationships at all, even if I do feel attraction. That I can have relationships, even without any attraction.

sorry this isn't an 'apl culture is', but can i have your thoughts?i only see people that i speak to as acquaintances and only really make "friends?" if im extremely familiar with them. however, then im unsure if it's because i feel romantically interested in them or if it's just friendship.

I'm actually not sure if there is a definite term for this, but I think you might experience something similar to Demiplatonic or Apresplatonicism. But instead of experiencing attraction after another is felt, it's just how familiar you are. I suppose though that could also be considered Demi. But it's more than being familiar, it's the confusion. Maybe you're Demi+ another platonic attraction. Like me, I believe I may be Demigrey.

Other ones that sound remind me of you are Quoi and Idem.

Idemplatonic might confusing(as it certainly confused me) and there is not a definite definition yet for it. So here:

Idemplatonic would be that you use outside factors to decide whether it's a platonic relationship or not, unlike Idemromantic that does the opposite with romantic relationships.

I only experience platonic attraction after I experience sensual attraction. What does that make me? Demiplatonic wouldn't work would it, since it would only be after an emotional bond but mine is only after sensual attraction?

Apres- only experiencing attraction after another form of attraction is felt. The attraction originally felt may or may not fade away over time, the new attraction replacing it.

So in your case, it sounds like you are apresplatonic. :)
