nah it’s not you, and it’s not weeping throwing things rage, it’s just...i want to take action, i want to fight it. i want to write something better, but then i feel helpless because me and plot just don’t play well. its a very righteous anger. they did wrong and i want to see them answer for it. i’ve always had a highly overdeveloped sense of fairness--i blame it on being an oldest child but maybe it’s just my own privilege speaking. in any case, I’ll deal. It will get better.

Thank you. It really galls when my dad dismisses everything I say as “rhetoric”, as if he’s immune to speaking rhetoric, or calls my ideas dumb. I know it’s part of growing up, but it still hurts to not feel like I can fully trust my dad. He’s a great man in so many ways, but I hate finding out the ways he’s not. At least he did say he doesn’t think he can vote for trump. ugh.
