And as a Eurofan, I did also use my enthusiasm for Eurovision to make a crossover of Apritello singing the song that will represent this year Spain, my country. 

The singers, Amaia and Alfred (the ship name is Almaia) are actually dating. They met each other in a spanish talent/reality show called Operación Triunfo and they fell in love during the competition. Months later spanish viewers decided that the couple would go to Lisbon. The song tells about their story and what they feel for each other. They're young but at the same time pure, humble and kind. 

It couldn't be more perfect the crossover of Almaia-Apritello for Valentine's Day! If you wanna hear the song this is the link:

Official "Poll" for Apritello Week

It's recently been brought to my attention that some Apritello Shippers would like a full week of our two Nerds, rather than the one day (traditionally Valentine's Day). So, I'll put this out there: Is anyone else pining for 6 extra day to enjoy fan art, fan fics, headcanons, and other Apritello shenanigans? I haven't done this is the past only because I wasn't sure what the turn out would be, but I was so happy to see how many people wanted to share their work! Let me know in the comments: A: Heck, yeah, Apritello WEEK! I would submit something! B: I would love a whole week, but I'll probably be a spectator. C: Meh, I'm good with one day. As always, if you're not an Apritello fan that's okay, but I do try to keep these posts positive so please, no negativity. The artists and writers who submit their work are amazing and, even if you don't Ship It, you have to admit the end products are phenomenal. Whelp alive but tired and lazy maybe someday I will be active again 😂 Then I heard that apritello day is at the same times as Valentines Day so I had to doodle at least something!! I haven’t done these cuties before so this was perfect moment to try. >u<

'How fast do words go inside ones head? Do their thoughts process into full words instantly? Or a jumble of emotions before one could fit words to them? There's only so many thoughts one could think in just a few seconds. sometimes you just choose action instead of words. Or both.' Here's that Apritello fancomic I mentioned. It was inspired by that thought, wondering what might have gone though April's head before she kissed Donnie after he told her that he thought she wouldnt date him because hes a mutant when in actuality...that wasnt the case. Artist ramble: The panel's are a bit all over the place, sorry about that. I still need to work on placing panels in the best way :/ and I kinda just sketched the backgrounds. I hope you guy like it. I like how it turned out.

Just a little something bittersweet for Apritello Day 2017...thanks for organizing @kleptotello <3 

“Do you miss her?” she asks, entwining her fingers with his.

“Who?” he asks, slowly, though he has to know. He’s in that faraway place beside her in bed, at the edge of consciousness’s and sleep, hanging on now, just for her. His lids weigh heavily over his dark brown eyes.

April runs a thumb over one of his metal fingers. He’s had this new arm so long now, sometimes she forgets. Until their fingers become enmeshed, and realizes that there are five fingers there instead of just three. Donatello always insisted it made it easier to type, but April had always wondered if that was only because he was wanted to be just a little more normal.

They could all use a little more normal, sometimes.

She wants to say their daughter’s name, but can’t. She squeezes his hand again, instead. He knows. That’s why the photograph of all three of them is in the dojo, not in their bedroom. It accompanies all of their other ghosts, now. April’s body is sinking into the pillows beside him, exhaustion weighing her limbs down an anchor.

She brushes a streak of gray hair from her eyes out of habit, even though they are closing. He squeezes her other hand. Her eyelids droop. Sleep is calling both of their names like an elegy.

Whenever she thinks of her, she remembers her funeral first. Sometimes she remembers meeting her, for the first time. Sometimes she remembers Donatello, stitching that cut shut, back when he had two hands. Six fingers. Sometimes she remembers her in her prom dress. But the funeral is always first. It was not the first, and it would not be the last. April knows that. But it still aches like an old bruise, all blood and broken capillaries, tender to the touch.

Donatello draws April closer, and takes a deep breath. “Every day,” he says.

The warmth of his body makes the grief melt a little.

It reminds her they are both still alive.

“Every day.”
