Oh. Good morning Dirk. I didn’t realize you were online.
I'm always online. Virtual and physical reality are all one in the same. I'm plugged in. Mornin' though.

> It takes you no time to put aside all your parts and pieces. Bolts and spare wires dropping back into their respective boxes. Striding into the kitchen moments after. You head to the sink there, and grab the dish soap to help take the edge off the grease and oil littering your hands. (And possibly face.)
> You throw a glance over your shoulder.
"What did you wanna talk about?"
apronpockets replied to your post:
Like father, like son.
heirvent replied to your post:
you shouldn’t
I'm reassured that my skepticism about you two is dead on.
apronpockets replied to your post:
It’s alright son, he will live on in our hearts.
i can't conceal dad, and i feel too much for this man
apronpockets replied to your post:
That’s not true though. Your birthday only comes around once a year and it’s celebrating you. And that’s important.
I'm not much of the celebrating type. If I knew you felt like this about birthdays, I would've said something.
...Dirk. Why didn't you mention to me it was your birthday yesterday son?
I didn't think it was important enough to mention. It's just another day.
apronpockets replied to your post:
A few minutes is all.
Your timing is fuckin' incredible then.
> Slide off the couch and wander into the kitchen, peering curiously at the oven and then to Mr. Crocker. Nodding towards the stove.
"So.. What's cookin'? It smells hella good."
