I dunno, it just seemed right. Roxas being less familiar with Aqua, what I imagined for that scene was that he would drop to his knees and Aqua would come up behind him to comfort him, but then would pull him into a hug when he started whimpering. 

heh, I’ll probably redraw this maybe with them hugging sometime, either traditional, or on the tablet. yeah, it’s weird and pixely because I used my phone and my finger xD

Just hanging out with #aquamom at #NoBrandcon . These costumes were such an interesting experience. I have new mad respect for ever person who puff panits their spider suit. @valkyrie.skye is always there to bounce ideas off of, and this costume took months of cross state communication, but it was 100% worth it when we came together. Also, she made my crown! Aquaman is a very comic book-y movie, and I mean that in the best, most positive way.
