Ok I lived and breathed Barbie as a kid and tried to collect all the Barbie movies pokemon style but I missed this one: The Diamond Castle. And watching it now as a fully realized creation can I just say

My thoughts on the DID drama with Anthony, Nin and Trisha.

I already posted these in comment form on Trishas “Dear Anthony” video but I wanted to add them here too to spread awareness.

If you haven’t heard what happened: Trisha claimed to have DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) otherwise known as Multiple Personality Disorder. Anthony had recently made a video interviewing people with the disorder, including YouTuber DissociaDID who dedicates their channel to education of DID. Trisha was horribly incorrect in her video introducing her alters, her influcence was harmful to the community and when she got called out by both Anthony and DissociaDID (Nin) she became livid. And made another horrible video cussing out Anthony and Nin.

Here are my thoughts on the matter:

- in no way did Anthony or DissociaDID deserve your be sworn at in such an aggressive manner like this. I can’t belive a real human being would react to a situation like this.

- she even said “You’re on YouTube, guess what? People are entitled to say whatever the f*ck they want” she needs to take her own advice. Let people say whatever the f*ck they want about you.

- Anthony and Nin akbowlaged her claim to have the disorder but never said she didn’t have DID, which is what she spend the while video focused on even though that wasn’t the issue at all.

- she also called out DissociaDID on acting like she knows everything. And while it’s true that there’s a lot of variation that comes with mental disorders but DissociaDID knows what they’re talking about! They have earned their place to talk about DID. They’re very well educated about their condition, much more that it seems she is.

- it’s impossible Nin and her system won’t see this as word gets around quickly. Trisha doesn’t realize how damaging the things she’s saying are, like clearly it was bad enough to call her crazy and now this?? I just really hope they’re alright.
