i have no idea what my brain is cooking but here is the hear me out:
Remembrance Yanqing but based on the Adar Rhiannon
yes i know damn well there is barely any connection between the two but my brain also loves fae and LISTEN LISTEN
the Adar Rhiannon are 3 birds that serve the goddess Rhiannon. the 3 birds are commonly depicted as black starlings, but are also described in some versions as a golden bird, an emerald bird, and a white bird. not only that, but the most well known feature about the birds are their ability to sing songs that "wake the dead and lull the living to sleep". jee i wonder what that reminds me of O_O and also the 3 birds could be 3 Yanqings that each focus on a battlestyle from the 3 paths that Yanqing is most commonly associated with: Hunt, Abundance, & Remembrance
BUT THATS NOT IMPORTANT RN IM TRYING TO MAKE A DESIGN FOR THIS BUT I DONT LIKE ANYTHING I MAKE ;w;
so far i think i like a little hair ornament with a feather on his left (viewer's right) side of his hair and the wings to be a light to deep blue gradient as a mix between swallow and starling. the tail will definitely be a swallow's though, i like the shape better for silhouette and Yanqing is a lil baby bird swallow anyways <3 i've also been consistently drawing pointed ears with some nips since it's a common trait among stereotypical fae and is also a reference to the story from Qingzu about him being a Vidyadhara but having had his ears bitten by rats as also a nod to that theory as well
the 3 Yanqings will def be different colors would will have black accents for again, the black starlings.
i dont know what else to do for now but consider this something i'll probably be working on instead of the HSR Wonderland idea o7
