i have no idea what my brain is cooking but here is the hear me out:

Remembrance Yanqing but based on the Adar Rhiannon

yes i know damn well there is barely any connection between the two but my brain also loves fae and LISTEN LISTEN

the Adar Rhiannon are 3 birds that serve the goddess Rhiannon. the 3 birds are commonly depicted as black starlings, but are also described in some versions as a golden bird, an emerald bird, and a white bird. not only that, but the most well known feature about the birds are their ability to sing songs that "wake the dead and lull the living to sleep". jee i wonder what that reminds me of O_O and also the 3 birds could be 3 Yanqings that each focus on a battlestyle from the 3 paths that Yanqing is most commonly associated with: Hunt, Abundance, & Remembrance

BUT THATS NOT IMPORTANT RN IM TRYING TO MAKE A DESIGN FOR THIS BUT I DONT LIKE ANYTHING I MAKE ;w;

so far i think i like a little hair ornament with a feather on his left (viewer's right) side of his hair and the wings to be a light to deep blue gradient as a mix between swallow and starling. the tail will definitely be a swallow's though, i like the shape better for silhouette and Yanqing is a lil baby bird swallow anyways <3 i've also been consistently drawing pointed ears with some nips since it's a common trait among stereotypical fae and is also a reference to the story from Qingzu about him being a Vidyadhara but having had his ears bitten by rats as also a nod to that theory as well

the 3 Yanqings will def be different colors would will have black accents for again, the black starlings.

i dont know what else to do for now but consider this something i'll probably be working on instead of the HSR Wonderland idea o7

Yesterday I tried to fix my Glamrock Freddy design so that he looks more fluffy and cuddly like a bear and less... sleek. I still need to fix it some more but it's going in the right direction!

Hi there's a spider above my bed that is a friend and I don't want to crush it in my sleep if it drops down so I'm waiting for it to patrol elsewhere. In the meantime, guess who's been thinking about updating their Sun and Moon designs again!

Yeah okay, so, I'm looking at what I've done with the Glamrocks. I gave them a ton of fluff and hid most visual signs of them being animatronics under said fluff... but I didn't do that with Eclipse. Well now it just looks inconsistent to me! So I plan on smoothing them out, which means exporting their PNGs again but who cares.

(NOTE: I finished writing the first draft of this post here and came to the conclusion that the spider would not come down. It didn't! It hung out on the ceiling the whole time... but the smoke alarm went off at 5 AM for no reason. Odd luck I've been having this week that I may or may not elaborate on later!)

The funny thing about Sun and Moon is that their decal art in-game portrays them with robotic features anyway, something that I continue to wonder about to this day. The Glamrocks have decal art that that displays them as the characters that the animatronics are portraying...

... right?

Ah, well, either way, the robotic part in my style is not presented as obvious, so I should probably update Eclipse's designs.

I've been working out a MASSIVE Trypticon design as part of my project, and the plan is to have him be modular. Each of the 20+ segments act like a standalone playset (i.e. Shockwave's Lab, The Armory). These segments than can be configured in basically any base mode you want. Furthermore, if you use the traditional setup, you can achieve battle-station, dino, Nemesis, and robot modes. A final bonus segment will also be made, as an alternative Gigastorm head. With all that in mind, I have one last idea I want to work in before I start properly sketching this out in scale. How do you feel about Insecticons being able to deploy from his tail a la Shin Godzilla?
