Arabeth living the Lavellan dream of steppin on Solas on an active battlefield.
Hey Bioware please let me play as my inquisitor in DA4, thank u.
Hi, sorry if this has been asked before. What did, or I guess, would Arabeth have worn to the Winter Palace during Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts? Would they have pick the inquisition's uniform, or would they have worn something else?
Hey! This is a rad question, sorry it took me a little while to respond. In my personal head canon, everyone in the Inquisition had their own unique outfit that they wore. Those red military jackets were just.... ugly. Im sorry but they were ugly LOL I sketched this out relatively quickly but I think Arabeth would have worn a dress. Their hair was also quite long during Inquisition.
thanks for the ask!
In DA:I which voice did you pick for Arabeth?
I chose Alix Wilton’s voice! while her voice work is lovely, I always imagined Arabeth’s voice to sound more like Alex McKenna’s (Sadie Adler in RDR2) but without the southern twang. [voice example]
In your mind, how do you see the conflict between Arabeth, Hanin, and Solas ending?
Hey!
This is a heavy question haha oh man. So? I always give my ocs HEA because I have enough sad stuff going on in my life, I don’t need to add to it ya feel me. So the resolution of those three’s story is going to be happy, however the road to GETTING there won’t be easy. I have a rough outline for what’s going to happen with the family that goes something like this:
Arabeth sketch dump (she/they)
Any desire to share details about Arabeth and their son? Because I'm already seriously in love
HELL YEAH I’m always down to share info about my ocs LOL
So- I haven’t really solidified the time line for Hanin’s conception but I’m THINKING it happened before the final battle with Corypheus. Solas is Hanin’s father, though Hanin isn’t made aware of that fact until he’s in his 20′s.
Arabeth probably didn’t find out they were pregnant until long after Solas was gone and that made everything that much more chaotic. By the time Trespasser happens, Hanin is nearly 2.
Arabeth never tells Solas that they have a kid because they’re pissed off and don’t wanna reveal a potential weak spot. It kills Arabeth to think that of him, but she wouldn’t put it past Solas to use Hanin to his own advantage.
Arabeth is largely absent for most of Hanin’s upbringing and that is a point of bitterness and contention between them as Hanin gets older. Arabeth is trying to stop the world from being destroyed and that keeps them away from Skyhold for long stints. Skyhold has been converted into almost a small city in the years after Trespasser and Hanin is it’s scion so he grows up jaded and bitter with buckets of insecurities but also a strong sense of duty to the people around him and to his Mom’s legacy.
He also was raised to hate Fen’Harel for keeping his mom away from him, which is more important to a child than the fate of the world haha. That makes things awkward when he finally finds out what Solas is to him....
It’s not all anger and bitterness tho. Everything Arabeth does is for their son, as well as the world at large. They care very, very deeply about their child and they have a lot of regrets about leaving Hanin.
Hanin was raised communally by the former Inquisition companions, nurse maids and clan Lavellan as well as Arabeth when they were home.
