@unexpected-profundity Thank you two for the asks!
1. Do you listen to music when you write?
Yes, and no. It really depends on my mood, sometimes I need to listen to music, other times it just distracts me.
2. Are you a pantser or plotter?
Plotter all the way! I really enjoy working on the plot and all the little details! I imagine just writing without thinking about all the possible plotholes is quite fun, but I just love thinking about the structure of the story!
5. How much writing do you get done on an average day?
Not that much honestly. On some days, I write and write and write, but there aren't that many when that happens.
11. Books and/or authors who influenced you the most
Terry Pratchett, Derek Landy and Walter Moers! I feel like (or rather hope) that my writing is kind of a mixture between theirs, humerous, rather easy to understand but not boring, and yet thrilling.
13. Describe your writing process from idea to polished
I just daydream about the characters, the worldbuilding and the plot for a while and then make a frist draft (?? I dunno, like a storyboard kinda?) using the snowflake method.
16. How many drafts do you need until you’re satisfied with a project?
I write something fir the first time, and write and write until I'm done for that day. At some point I reread everything, and fix what I don't like.
31. Least favourite part of writing
Getting to actually start writing? I love planning, and writing, but the transition between the two the the bad part about it.
30. Favourite idea you haven’t started on yet
I'm still in the let's-throw-random-ideas-together-and-hope-this-will-work-out-somehow-phase, I've fallen in love with this other wip I already rambled about to @marewriteblr !
It's basically about a school for people and creatures with a high magical potential. One day, this orphan girl gets an invitation to it, despite never ever having to do anything with magic. She ends up befriending an extroverted girl who also just so happens to be a shapeshifter and her best friend, an extremly introverted werewolf. Together they try their best to find out why the protagonist was send to the school in the first place, and accidently discover a dark, dark secret…
49. Which character would you most want to be friends with, if they were real?
Hmm, that's a really though one. I think Voice would be a really good friend. Despite being quite chaotic and impulsive, he'd be one of the most trustworthy people and a great listener. Now I can't atop imagining Aurora screaming sir that's my emotional support voice inside my head!
Or Thirteen, they'd be always there for you. And while their morals might be a little grayer than others, they'd do everything to protect you and make you happy!
