Happy Dracones Monday! Stollenwyrm!

In folklore you may see this spelled as 'stollenwurm', but I'm choosing to spell 'worm', 'wurm' and 'orm' words as 'wyrm' in my own project! Also, many people know this creature better as the tatzelwurm (tatzelwyrm!) - the cat dragon of the Alps!

I have lumped the tatzelwurm, stollenwurm and arassas from folklore into one species, the 'stollenwyrm'. In Dracones Mundi dragons metamorphose from serpentine immature forms to legged adults, and so the stollenwyrm starts life as a newtlike black serpent, then a 'cat faced' serpent, then a two legged 'half cat half snake' before finding their adult form. Of course, they aren't really 'part cat', they are a crocodylomorph, like all Dracones Mundi dragons, but the fleshy barbels on their face resemble cat whiskers. These barbels are sensitive to tactile sensations (like cat whiskers) and to magic, allowing them to find prey in the dark from magic distruption in the air.
