The mission had been simple: get close to King the Wildfire, learn his secrets, then get the hell out.
Unfortunately, King turned out to be less of a masked BDSM idol and more of a starving apex predator who had spent thirty years pretending he didn’t need affection.
You cracked through the armor, the mask, the walls, and whatever deeply repressed emotional disaster was living underneath. Getting into King’s bed had taken skill, planning, and nerves of steel.
And it was a huge mistake because now you are trapped.
The next morning, you wake up and discover King has attached himself to you with the determination of super glue and the grip strength of a hydraulic press.
You attempt to leave. His arm tightens.
You attempt diplomacy.
“No.”
You attempt bribery.
“No.”
You attempt escape while he’s supposedly asleep.
A single golden eye opens.
“No.”
He isn’t even threatening you. You’ll soon discover he’s known about your little game a long time, which should be a death sentence, but won’t be because he’s finally found something he wants.

Many assume that King is hard, rough on the edges. He’s like that in general, of course. But I think he’s softer than people believe in love.
Cause think about it. A man like him doesn’t fall easily. The only person who’s ever gotten close to him was Kaido, and King is loyal to him above all. Even his own crewmates hardly hold a flame.
So, naturally, you would have had to do something extra spectacular for this man. Give him something Kaido couldn’t. Like, just in example of what I’m thinking, information on his Lunarian race you may have gotten from the government, or poneglyphs. Information if anyone is left, etc.
After that point? You become very, very important to him. He’s gentle with you. You’re not Kaido, the strongest creature in the world. You’re human. He’s 20 ft, and you’re somewhere between 4-6 feet. Therefore, he tries his best to be gentle with you, a foreign concept.
How would he ask you out? I imagine he’d gift you things. Perhaps flowers native to Wano. Or the finest fabrics he can find. He’d do something between formerly asking to court you, or straight up saying, “You are mine now. You are under my protection. Understand?”
He’d be extremely protective, possibly bordering on controlling. If it were up to him, you’d stay locked away, protected from the horrors of the world you’d seen time and time again.
Touch is a foreign concept to him, naturally. So, when you first touch him, he’d probably stiffen and warily stare (feels like glaring) as you do it. But, he trusts you, so he lets you do your thing (in private only).
He’s not one for dates. Not wining or dining. Perhaps bringing you to a private spa, or a dinner alone. But, count your blessings.
👑Who Wakes up first in the morning:👑 King does he isn’t one that likes to stay long in bed or sleep much as there are things to do and such. He will wake up around dawn, and after checking on his S/O he will head to the training room and work out a bit before coming back to check on his S/O and help them get up and ready for the day. He wants his S/O prepared in case anything happens in the future.
👑Who’s the first to fall asleep at night:👑 His S/O is the one to fall asleep first, he will spend half his night walking around the island making sure everything is in its place and nothing could go wrong for Kaido. Even on his breaks, his S/O would fall asleep first while he trains. Though he does look forward to seeing his S/O in bed. He will slowly crawl into bed not to disturb them before wrapping one arm around them.
👑What they playfully tease each other over: 👑 He isn’t one for teasing or would get jokes. If his S/O does try to joke with him he will stare blankly at them, trying to register the joke and such. He wouldn’t tease his S/O as once again he wouldn’t know how to. He wouldn’t go to anyone and ask about how to joke with his S/O as he is a private person. He maybe would go to Kaido who will help him understand but for the most part he will just not understand.
👑What they do when the other’s having a bad day:👑 He wants to be in his S/O arms just sitting with them in silence. He isn’t one to talk as he is still digesting his feelings, even though he isn’t aware he is having a bad day till he sees his S/O but with his S/o their presence. He starts feeling calm suddenly as he is with them talking about pointless things. He does enjoy pointless conversations with his S/O. If his S/O is having a bad day he wouldn’t be aware till his S/O tells him. He will then punish those who hurt his S/O in the most brutal way. He isn’t good at comforting but will enjoy a small chat with his S/O to distract them.
👑How they say ‘I’m sorry after arguments: 👑 He will not apologize after an argument, call it pride and ego thing. He will not apologize, though he will accept an apology from his S/O if they do choose to apologize. He will quickly accept his S/O apology as they are one of the few people he trusts, and he can’t let them leave as he would want them. If his S/O is waiting for an apology from he will take his time, but it will come slowly as he says stoically and such and hoping they accept his apology.
👑Which one’s more ticklish:👑 His S/O he is split on having them get over their ticklish side or having them keep it as he does enjoy poking his S/O and seeing them squirm under this touch. In the end he will choose to keep it as he enjoys his S/O he will keep them.
👑Their favorite rainy day activities:👑 it was training at first as he doesn’t want his S/O or him to be weak but after a while he learns the small conversation he shared with his S/O while they sit and watch the rain. He likes small conversations as it feels normal for him and the only normalcy he has in his life. Soon the conversations will get deep, and he does share his personal feelings on everything.
👑How they surprise each other:👑 When he takes off his mask in front of his S/O it is a show of loyalty and trust knowing they wouldn’t hurt him. He is very protective of his feelings having been betrayed and used before so him showing how he actually looks and being lunarian. It comes a surprise when his S/O calls him beautiful and doesn’t shudder away from and accepts him for what he is. He might surprise his S/O by planning time to hang out with his S/O. He even allows his S/O to call him by his given name in private if they so choose.
👑Their most sickening show of public affection:👑 No one but Kaido knows his relationship, it is for his S/O protection. He is ranked high in Kaido’s army and if anyone knows it could put his S/O in danger and he wouldn’t want that as he is protective of them. He will share secret conversations in private when know is looking and allow his S/O to his cheek when he is wearing his leather suit.
