King/Arber/Alber Headcannons [GN!reader]

CW: different King headcannon than you might be used to?

A/N: none

Many assume that King is hard, rough on the edges. He’s like that in general, of course. But I think he’s softer than people believe in love.

Cause think about it. A man like him doesn’t fall easily. The only person who’s ever gotten close to him was Kaido, and King is loyal to him above all. Even his own crewmates hardly hold a flame.

So, naturally, you would have had to do something extra spectacular for this man. Give him something Kaido couldn’t. Like, just in example of what I’m thinking, information on his Lunarian race you may have gotten from the government, or poneglyphs. Information if anyone is left, etc.

After that point? You become very, very important to him. He’s gentle with you. You’re not Kaido, the strongest creature in the world. You’re human. He’s 20 ft, and you’re somewhere between 4-6 feet. Therefore, he tries his best to be gentle with you, a foreign concept.

How would he ask you out? I imagine he’d gift you things. Perhaps flowers native to Wano. Or the finest fabrics he can find. He’d do something between formerly asking to court you, or straight up saying, “You are mine now. You are under my protection. Understand?”

He’d be extremely protective, possibly bordering on controlling. If it were up to him, you’d stay locked away, protected from the horrors of the world you’d seen time and time again.

Touch is a foreign concept to him, naturally. So, when you first touch him, he’d probably stiffen and warily stare (feels like glaring) as you do it. But, he trusts you, so he lets you do your thing (in private only).

He’s not one for dates. Not wining or dining. Perhaps bringing you to a private spa, or a dinner alone. But, count your blessings.

A/N: erm its been a while 😣

Heaving a long, smoky sigh, Crocodile finally got into his quiet office. He may have been a pirate, but he was also a businessman at heart. Which meant that more often than not, he was busy. Busy arranging things, busy with Shichibukai work, busy with Baroque Works, busy managing his casino. But, it was all for the greater good.

He went to pour himself a cold one. And then, a scent wafted through the air. A familiar scent. Quickly, his golden hook detaches from him. It points at her throat, a bead of blood dripping down her pretty neck he’s decorated with his lips more than once. His eyes narrow.

“Mrs. (L/n)…” He huffs, lighting a new cigar, before his cold eyes take her appearance in. Her painted lips curve upwards in that minx-like smirk. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”

Her lips curve down in a pout as she removes the hook from her neck. She circles around him like a cat, her hand brushing his broad shoulders.

“Aw… must you be so formal? Can I not visit my favorite warlord?” She asks smoothly, smirking up at him. Though, her smirk is replaced with a slight grimace as he purposely blows smoke in her face.

“I thought such a title went to Mihawk?”

“Hm… he is a very charming man. But a bit too… cold…”

Crocodile scoffs. “More than me?”

“More than even you, yes.” She brushes her hand down his jacket.

Yes, Crocodile was a busy man. A very busy man. His job made sure of it. His duties made sure of it.

And so did this woman…

But of course… he could always make time for her…

—in the slim chance that you catch him, he’ll just glare at you before looking away, leaving you quite confused

—like if he sees your earbuds are falling apart, he’ll show up the next day and slam a box of new ones on your desk

—he’d prob say something like “I was tired of seeing you use those shitty ass earbuds. Was fuckin’ annoying *scoffs.*”

—or he’d see you do something and take over for you. “You’re really shit at this, just let me fuckin’ do it.”

—in the chance that you’re oblivious, all these acts of his would be super confusing, and he’d probably get really annoyed with you

—obviously he wouldn’t tell you why he’s annoyed… so then you’re just left more confused

—definitely did not ask you out. Was more of a demand.

—“Be my s/o, dumbass!” or “Go on a date with me!”

Summary: You and Laxus are training when your period starts to hate you at a bad time.

Warnings: mentions of period cramping and hormones, no pronouns used, training, crying

A/N: should i make a pt 2?

Once again, you were knocked off your feet and onto the ground. The lightning dragon slayer stood over you with a smirk.

“You seem distracted today. What’s wrong?” He offered his hand. You glared at it, but still took it as he easily pulled you to your feet.

“It’s nothing.” You weren’t going to tell him you were on your period and having god-awful cramps, because then, he wouldn’t want to train with you anymore. It bothered you, feeling weak compared to him, especially during times like this.

He only sighed. “Let’s take a break.”

“I’m fine, Laxus-”

“Who said the break was for you?” he interrupted.

You scoffed. “You need a break? Yeah, right.”

He rolled his eyes, sitting down against a nearby tree.

You sat beside him. He offered you some water and you gladly took it.

“So, are you gonna tell me or what?”

You sighed. “I’m. Fine.”

“And I have neon pink hair.”

You glared at him once more before smirking. “It’d suit you.”

He scoffed.

After a moment of silence passed, you stood up. “C’mon.” You grabbed his hand to pull him up, but he wouldn’t budge.

“I think I’m done for the day.”

“Laxus, I told you. I’m fi- argh-” You doubled over in pain as a particular sharpness stabbed in your lower abdomen.

“(Name)!” Laxus was quick to rush up to you, grabbing your shoulders. “Are you injured?!”

“No-” you managed out, “I’m on my period.”

Realization hit his features as irritation built up. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Because I knew you wouldn’t train with me if you knew,” you sighed.

“And why does that matter?” His voice was stern.

“Because, Laxus, I want to be strong.” You were growing as impatient with him as he was with you.

“What?”

“I don’t want to hold you back during jobs. I want you to think I’m strong.” You frowned, feeling tears sting at your eyes. Those damned hormones…

“You are strong. But strength also comes from knowing when to stop.” He took your chin between his finger and thumb and tilted your head to look at him.

You blushed. “You’re just saying that.”

“Perhaps.” He smirked and you puffed out your cheeks. “I’ll…” he sighed, “I’ll pamper you if you agree to rest.” He looked away, eyebrows furrowing as his cheeks dusted a light pink color. He never wanted to admit to being soft, but when it came to you..?

You slowly smirked. “Chocolate?” He nodded. “Bubble bath?” He nodded. “Face masks?”

“You’re pushin’ it.”

You laughed.

He kissed you on the forehead before the two of you headed home, hand in hand.

A Small Gesture

Laxus x GN!reader

Summary: you struggle to sleep well throughout the night, but Laxus is always there to comfort you :-)

Warnings: insomnia, mention of nightmares

A/N: this is my first one-shot/ drabble/ whatever u wanna call this. I have insomnia and frequent nightmares and so i wanted to make a cute little one shot with one of my favorite characters regarding the subject. Might make some for others. Bare with me while i get used to Tumblr and its format.

When Laxus woke up to an empty space next to his spot in bed, he couldn’t help but sigh in disappointment.

This had become a sort of ritual for he and his partner. Often, they’d wake up in the middle of the night, usually due to a nightmare. At times, they’d grab a snack from the kitchen or use the restroom, and then come right back to bed. But when the nightmares were worse than usual (or perhaps they could just feel restless), they’d get up, go to the living room and read, or go outside and stargaze.

With another sigh of disappointment, the blond man got up out of bed and put his pants on. He reached for his shirt as well, but found it missing, meaning his significant other took it. He left his bedroom, and after finding the living room empty, he went outside.

He found them sitting on the front steps, head tilted up as their (e/c) orbs searched for familiar planets, star clusters, galaxies, and constellations. He smiled ever so slightly as he saw his shirt on their figure.

“Find anything interesting?” Sleep was evident in Laxus’ voice.

(Name) stared back at him with a small smile. “I found Orion.” They pointed up at the inky sky. Laxus nodded his head, as if he recognized that particular constellation.

The lightning mage sat down beside his partner before leaning over to kiss their temple. They took his hand in theirs, tracing the lines on his palm, a small gesture that showed they cared, and made him smile every time.

“You wanna talk about it?” He peered over at them, frowning as they gazed at the ground with hesitancy on their face. They shrugged.

“I’m guessing it was more… violent?” Laxus chose his words carefully. They nodded. He decided to not press further and simply squeezed their hand and brought it to his lips, letting them know he was there if they needed him.

Finally, they revealed the nightmare without going into heavy details. The blond man clenched his jaw as he listened. He wished he could help them more. (Name), sensing his feelings of helplessness, reassured him that being there was enough.

Laxus attempted to distract them with stupid, comedic stories about his time with his team, pride swelling in his chest as he heard their melodic laugh. After some time, (Name)’s head fell on his shoulder. Even though Laxus felt helpless at times, it made him feel better seeing how his partner trusted him and felt at peace with him. He kissed them on the crown of their head with a smile.

The blond picked up his partner with ease, glancing down at them as they stirred. He went inside his home and placed them on his bed, laying down next to them and pulling them close, a small gesture that showed he cared, and would do anything to protect them.

Summary: As Hiryu Rin and his friend Tsuburaba watch (F/n) (L/n) go against their class during Joint Training, he can’t help but wonder what he did to deserve her.

“Man, she is so hot,” Tsuburaba practically drooled from beside Rin as they both watched her fight with Mina Ashido against Kodai and Yanagi from their class. Rin could feel his eye start to twitch from annoyance.

“Honestly, how did you bag her? What’s your secret?” The brunette questioned, looking at him in disbelief.

“Uh,” Rin felt sweat drip down his forehead as he smiled awkwardly. “I-”

“Crap, we lost!” Tsuburaba suddenly interrupted as he looked at the screen in disappointment.

Rin didn’t bother to hide his grin as he saw his girl’s excitement. He was proud of her. He then looked down at the ground, face softening.

What had he done to deserve her?

Soon after all the students moved into the dorms, Rin met (F/n) (L/n). He had already known she was a beauty whenever he had faced her in the Cavalry Battle in the Sports Festival, but had never really seen her up close until then. And then she started to show interest in him of all people.

It started with random compliments in passing. She’d compliment his hero costume, tell him his quirk was really cool, say his hair was pretty, his fighting style was cool, etc.

And then by some chance of fate, he was paired with her during an activity with class 1A. He couldn’t help but notice the way she blushed around him, or would stutter over her words, or her inability to hold eye contact. It made him wonder if he was seeing things. Either way, somehow he worked up the courage to ask her out on a date, fully expecting her to decline like she had done with most of the guys in their grade…

But she said yes.

Which brings us to now.

Rin watched in irritation as Hitoshi Shinso walked up to her with a slight blush.

“Hey, would you like to get some dinner with me?”

(F/n) looked over at Rin as he huffed.

“I’m already dating someone,” she gave a small sympathetic smile.

“Who?” He questioned in disbelief.

“Hiryu,” (F/n) pointed over to the long-haired male as he waved awkwardly.

Shinso’s eyes widened in disbelief as he looked away, muttering, “Whatever,” and walking off.

She shrugged and practically skipped over to her boyfriend.

“Hi, love,” she grinned brightly.

“Hey,” he blushed. “You were great out there.”

“Thanks,” her cheeks turned a pinkish color.

“Hey, (F/n)!”

She looked over in question before smiling, “Hi, Tsuburaba.”

Said boy’s face reddened. “You were awesome out there… like always,” he chuckled.

“Thank you!”

Rin could only purse his lips as he looked at his friend incredulously.

(F/n)’s (e/c) eyes met his as he felt his face heat up once more. She took his hands in her own.

“You wanna grab something to eat?” She asked sweetly.

“Sure,” he smiled.

What he had done to deserve this, he wasn’t sure. But he’d hold onto her for as long as he could.
