Right, So This Is A Pretty Good Start...

In amongst my search for an indie act to headline a show in London on 12th Feb, I uncovered this little gem by Chicago, IL outfit Impulsive Hearts. It's not 100% apparent whether this project is a solo endeavor supported by friends, or a fully-fledged band, but this track, 'Everything/Everyone', is certainly promising:

And continuing, precariously, along the "It's Friday night, let-your-hair-down" theme, this track from Birmingham producer/remixer, Arc Vel features the beutiful and floaty vice of Lisa Waldron. It's called 'Little Bird':

First Fold Records summer releases

First Fold Records has just announced their fall releases and I haven't even caught up with the summer ones yet, which were:

Boss Turbo:

'Make Light 1' is the first track from 'Learn DarkBASIC' ep by Boss Turbo Doesn't Afraid Of Anything.  Available from http://www.firstfoldrecords.com/catalogue/boss-turbo-doesnt-afraid-of-anythin... http://bossturbo.tumblr.com/ The track was made in Audiomulch using samples of guitar which are manipulated to sound like synths. The ep is inspired by the mood of 1980's Cyberpunk novels such as William Gibson's 'Neuromancer'. The video was made in VVVV.
