The word for “Saturday night” in my conlang. It was created entirely by existing morphology and roots and I’m really proud of how it looks and sounds. Small conlanging moments like this where your creation makes something beautiful on its own are what this is all about.
Writing in my conlang while bored at work
A quick, simple intro to my conlang! It’s been stealing most of my time, so I thought maybe you guys would enjoy it too! I’ll post some more in depth stuff about it later, if you guys seem to like this.
Ragin Cajuns
While most of you are impressed by this pup's ability to power clean about 4x his body weight with near perfect form, we hagz had our attention drawn by something else in this photo: that flag in the top right-hand corner of the shot. What *is* that flag, you ask?
The stronghold says Bowzer's castle. The overall layout says Pambansang Watawat. Nolo originally guessed Filipino army, but I thought the Fleurs too francophile. Turns out it's the flag of Acadiana, Cajun heartland. The charges represent French heritage, historical Spanish rule and Our (their) lady of the assumption. Guess which is which.
