Arcane Au:

Sol, piltover child of a well known family turned zaunite assassin

Charlie, enforcer because his parents were, and they told him it’d be a good idea. Heavily upholds the idea that zaunites are dangerous

Here we see Sol and Charlie’s first meeting, Charlie detaining him after Sol was reported to have stolen something from a nearby building.

You will certainly be seeing more of this au bc fuck I love how it’s been turning out story wise, plus it’s giving me lots of ideas for my main story. Arcane has such good world building it’s interesting seeing how my characters fit into that.

I love the impression that Caitlyn is this normal, calm, rational person

Because she’s absolutely not!

It’s just that the majority of the other characters she interacts with are just insanely reckless and impulsive and defy all reason and logic to such a ridiculous degree

She’s just the rational one by default

Because at least she knows what the word means and can recognize what she’s doing is reckless 

Like the girl is injured from an explosion she could’ve easily died from and when she is fired the next day, immediately goes to the prison to illegally interview Silco’s goon (illegal cause she’s not an enforcer) and then when that doesn’t work out

She decides to go and talk to this other very dangerous prisoner who beat the shit out of this behemoth of a man to the point that he can’t even move his jaw and then a few minutes later breaks said dangerous prisoner out, by forging documents and orders from a councilor (which has got to be way more illegal than just interviewing these prisoners by pretending she’s still an enforcer)

And then becomes ride or die for said prisoner in like a day

Like….

Cait is so fucking reckless, impulsive and irrational in comparison to anyone who is somewhat normal

But because she is surrounded by people who would not only do that as well, but find it reasonable – she’s become the normal one by default

 It’s just so funny to me

It’s very funny to me that Vi had no idea that Caitlyn was not an enforcer during any of this

Like can you imagine Vi’s reaction when Caitlyn reveals she got her job back despite breaking so many goddamn laws

“wait you weren’t an enforcer when we met? wait you can become an enforcer by breaking the law?”

And while obviously this probably wouldn’t have solved anything

It’s also very funny to me if when Jinx went to Vi

“You’re with an enforcer?”

and Caitlyn just responded with, “actually I’m not an enforcer. I have absolutely no authority in regards to the law at this moment.”

And again possibly Vi’s reaction being a mix of 

“wait you lied to me?” and “wait that means I’m not falling for an enforcer, oh thank god”

I had a thought today so what if Vander had been an enforcer before the girls? Imagine how betrayed Vi and Powder - especially Vi - would feel, how much her anger would devolve to hatred, and resentment, towards him for keeping that from her. Even if Vander’s service was of a nobler cause, before hotheads like Marcus and during a time of principle, like Grayson. Food for thought.
