The Worst Kind Of Betrayal|Silco (Arcane) x Reader
|Peachy's Oneshot Event: Day 12
Day 11 Prompt: Moving in with All Might Day 12 Prompt: Silco thinks you're cheating Day 13 prompt: You take care of injured Dabi (A/N: Day 12 folks! This request was from @celestarlaand we love her for it. Tysm lovely and enjoy! Follow along for day 13! ) Oneshot Event List WARNINGS:suspected cheating, domestic abuse, betrayal, violent rage, violence, possessive behaviours, mentions of torture, baby trapping, etc. What's Playing: "Bloody Mary" ~Lady Gaga
Out of anyone could be. Any soulless and lowly person you could've done this with, why did it have to be him? Why, after giving the nation of Zaun at your fingertips, would you choose to betray him like this? After all he'd done for you, given you a chance to rise from the ashes and achieve greatness.
And here you were throwing it all away. Silco hoped the moments of bliss were worth it.
He stormed up the stairs to his office, his normally neatly gelled and styled hair out of place from how many times he'd run his hands through it in rage. Admittedly, he looked like a mad man, and truthfully, he felt like one.
Memories, flashbacks of the moment Vander tried to drown him in the river come back in full force, making Silco lean against the railing to catch his breath and compose himself from the panic they ensured. Chest tight, thoughts abuzz, subconsciously checking the shadows to see if Vander was hiding the shadows, there to torment and laugh at him. You'd pay for the terror you'd caused him.
Silco had told you when you'd gotten together, a match made with love bombing and subtle manipulations, that you would reap the best rewards but receive the same punishments as the rest of his lackeys. Back then he never had anticipated actually following through on the threat, and but he was nothing if not a man of his word.
Pushing open the door to his personal office, Silco took in your dishevelled appearance. Bruises would form from how rough they grabbed you. At any other time Silco would've threatened to tear apart anyone who would dare to defy him by laying a finger on you. But now, he knew you deserved it. Walk it off. Nothing was compared to the pain of ripping out his heart like this.
"What the hell is going on Silco? You send your goons after me? Me?"
Silco wills his perfectly composed mask into place, avoiding the way he wanted nothing more than to choke you until he watched the life drain from your eyes for this betrayal. But showing anger like that was weakness, it would give you a card to use against him. Another thing to stab him in the back with. He wouldn't let you blindside him again. Never again.
"Sevika, my loyal, trustworthy comrade cares about Zaun. About the family we've built. So she knows how important it is not to betray the carefully formed trust that's been forged between all of us martyrs for the cause."
Your brows furrow in confusion. It was like Silco to go on rants and tirades, spewing about Zaun's importance and his ideals for the future. Usually you'd listen with graceful patience, understanding his dream. But when one was tied up and beaten at the hands of your violent partner's lackeys, patience wasn't forthcoming.
"Get to the point." You spew, venomously.
The muscle in Silco's jaw ticked, and he let his anger get the best of him. In a flash he slapped your cheek, the sound deafening in the stunned silence of the room. Everyone working for Silco knew that you were off limits, that he adored you almost above the nation he was trying to build. To see him strike you meant one thing: you weren't invincible anymore. The tide was shifting and you might one day become obsolete in his eyes. Silco had just drawn a target on your head.
"Don't you dare order me about when you're the one who betrayed me!"
"Betrayed? What on earth are you talking about? Out of anyone here you know I'm the most loyal! I've proven myself again and again, dedicated my life to this cause, to see your dream come to fruition. You've never questioned me before, why now? And what does this have to do with Sevika?" You glanced at the woman in question, eyes narrowing at her spiteful smirk. You knew she considered you a distraction to the cause, how Silco would pump the breaks on a plan at your discretion. If you were out of the way, Silco could become more reckless, and while it would be a bloodbath, Zaun might become a reality sooner.
"Sevika saw you with.....him."
You didn't have to ask who he meant. There was no one Silco spoke of with such venom, such utter disdain that the name couldn't even be uttered.
"Now why would I be around Vander?"
"Don't!" He snapped. "Don't say his name!" A deep breath calms him enough to continue, although just barely. "That's what I'd like to know. Sevika saw you entering the back door of The Last Drop, disappearing in there for a long while. When you emerged..." He trails off, the mental picture his mind is giving him making him sick.
"I saw you locking lips with Vander, practically tongue fucking him with your mouth." Sevika finishes. It was like she knew that you were aware of how bullshit the claim was, but what were you going to do about it? The ironclad faith you and Silco had built had been rocked to the core. Maybe it would never recover.
"Silco you have to believe me, that's a bunch of crap. I've never gone near the place out of respect and love for you. Why would I suddenly betray you for your worst enemy?"
"A good question. Which leads me to wonder if it isn't sudden at all." He kneels to your height on the floor, staring into the eyes he so loves and searching for the deep seated deceit in them. "How long has this really been going on?"
"It hasn't been going on at all! I've never touched or wanted to touch Vander ever! The last time I interacted with him was before his betrayal! Sevika's spewing shit through her teeth and you're eating it up! Why are you believing her over me? Haven't I proven my loyalty to you?"
"You have. Once. But I can't help but feel like you've been holding out on me this whole time. Reluctant to give me what I truly want."
This is the first you've heard of this, and the surprise is evident on your face. "What do you mean? What is it I haven't given you?"
Silco straightens to his full height, pacing around you like a predator stalking its prey. "After the war for our freedom, many good people were killed. Both the old and new generation thinned, Zaun's citizens, the true believers in our cause reduced to petty numbers. If we want to thrive, if we want to become a nation feared, those numbers have to rise again."
You connect the dots easily. "A child? Silco, in this political climate, you're mad."
"You're unwilling to do this ultimate act of loyalty for me?"
"I don't want to throw a child into a war!"
"Then you've proven where your allegiance lies. It seems we'll have to discover where else you've betrayed us." Silco nods as Sevika moves in, all to eager. "If you should change your mind, I'll make sure Sevika lets you keep the ability to call for me."
"Silco-! Silco-!"
The moment those cries are heard, Silco puts out the stub his cigar had become, and returns to your side, all too eager to be your saviour.
Sevika had been thorough, you wouldn't be recognizable once the swelling started.
"I'm so glad you came to your senses my dear. I couldn't imagine creating this empire without you." He gently tilts your chin so you meet his gaze.
"Once the smoke clears, your service to Zaun will be remembered for generations to come."

Player!Caitlyn Kiramman who you first see outside one of your campus’ dorms in the parking lot, unloading her things out of her car and talking to girls here and there as they approach or greet her.
You catch her eye in a shared class, and she introduces herself. You’re both pursuing your Master’s, and both are happily single (her more so).
The rumors had reached you first. Murmurs of her sleeping with Vi, a girl a year younger than you but charisma much older. Lest, a girl finishing up her Bachelor’s of Cosmetology who would often meet with Caitlyn in her car, or be seen leaving her place exclusively at night. There has even been mentions of a Professor here and there.
She hadn’t denied them either. She’d asked you outright if you wanted to come to her place for drinks and then later if you liked women. She explained that yeah, she wasn’t dating seriously, and enjoyed that freedom as much as she wanted.
“I mean look at you. How could I not?”
After that, one thing led to another, and you found yourself under her for the first time a week later.

Sevika x Fem!Reader & Jinx - Found Family Modern AU
You had known Vi, Powder, Mylo and Claggor since they were taken in by Vander. Being the big man's number one bartender, the kids also trusted you. It also helped the girls to have a woman around.
Powder gravitated towards you more than Vi, which you didn't mind. The little one was always so shy but when you started to date, she definitely made herself known, especially when Vi started to pay attention as well, suddenly Powder didn't have your attention, it was being shared.
When it came out that you were dating Sevika, all hell broke loose.
"Why would you want to date that ogre?" Vi asked, mouth agape, eyes darting between you and Sevika. You two had found a moment to be alone near the toilets. Obviously, it wasn't that much of a good hiding spot, two kids staring at you in disgust.
You sigh, turning to the girls, shooing them to the main bar. "Vi, Sev is not an ogre."
"But you're too pretty for her." Vi whined.
Sevika scoffed, "Got a crush, knucklehead?" Vi blushed brightly, pushing Sevika's arm before storming off.
You shake your head, looking down at Powder, "Pow, baby, you okay?"
Powder walks forward, laying her head on your stomach, "Are you going to forget about me, now?" She whispers, sniffling.
Sevika looks at you wide eyed, not knowing what to do. You roll your eyes, placing your hands on Powder's shoulder, moving her back so you could see her eyes and crouch in front of her.
"Baby, who could forget you? Also, you're my girl, I will come to you when Sev is being annoying and forgetting to move her smelly boots from the bedroom." You poke her nose, making her giggle. Gathering her in your arms, standing up straight. "You might be under Vander's care, but I am always here for you, no matter what."
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
As the years went on, the kids grew up and you grew older. You and Sevika were going strong, nothing could break you apart.
Vi had tried a couple of times, especially when she turned 18, thinking she was a better match for you than "Ogre Sevika". That was settled when Sevika told the young one that she could date you if she beat her in a fight, Vi forgot to block and lost. She wasn't able to live it down with her siblings and Sevika gave her the chance to train with her. They both ended up working well together and now own a gym, well Sevika owns it, Vi works as a personal trainer. That is where she met the one and only Caitlyn Kiramman.
Powder reinvented herself, Jinx, she was fed up with Mylo calling her one and decided to own it. Her hair grew out and only allowed one person to style it for her, you. She was also more often than not at your place, staying with you much to Sevika's charging. It didn't matter though, one look from you and Sevika would shrink and not say a word. Jinx was your baby, like you always said, in every way apart from actually being yours and Jinx knew it, she used it. It helped her, especially when you were the only one who knew about her diagnosis.
Sevika would always say that you spoil her and baby her too much, but you didn't care and neither did Jinx, in all purposes, you were her mother and she, your daughter. Sevika just didn't understand the bond.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
You are lounging on the couch, reading a book, trying to relax after a long day at work. The bar was heaving and too many men tried to touch what they can’t have.
Getting to an intense part of the book, you hear a little crack from the window, looking towards it you see nothing. Looking back to your book, you jump in the air, sat at your hip, on the floor, on her knees, was Jinx.
“Jesus girl, I am going to make you wear a bell.” You place a hand on your chest to calm your heart.
Jinx just looks at you, eyes wide and shining, frown on her lips.
“Jinx, love, what happened?” You open your arms for her to crawl into your lap.
She instantly pounces on you, knees either side of your hips, hands grasping the bottom of your shirt, wriggling her head and body under it, to get some skin on skin. Her cheek on the swell of your breast, hands grasping at the skin on your waist, her nails slightly pinching.
You pick up the top of your shirt, peaking down to the bluenette, “Bad day?” A nod. “Want to talk about it?" A shake. "Want some quiet time?" A nod. You smile, going back to the book, one hand stroking the girls' back, as she practically melts into you.
An hour later, the front door opens, Sevika walks through, seeing a lump stuck to your front.
Sevika sighs, "She has your tits more than me." You laugh, hold your hand out to your girlfriend, who takes it, placing a kiss on the back of your hand. "Bad day?"
"Yeah, she hasn't talked about it, yet, just curled up to me. I think she is asleep." Sevika peaks down her top, seeing a relaxed Jinx, eyes closed, slow breathing.
"She's asleep." Sevika takes a seat next to you, lifting both of yours and Jinx's legs to place them on her lap. "She came to the gym after school."
"Ahh, she saw Caitlyn." Sevika nodded. "I have talked to her about it, but until Vi can stop for a minute and actually visit with her baby sister and spend more than ten minutes with her it would be perfect."
"That and actually introduce the two to each other." Sevika added.
You hum in agreement, smoothing your hand on the young girl's back, feeling her move and cuddle closer.
"We need to host a dinner."
"Oh no."
"Oh yes"

"Stupid philosophy project, Wasn't even supposed to take this stupid subject..." Her eyes turned downward as the explosive flew into pieces.
Legs dangling from the rim, Stars flicked above her, sketchbook on the side and phone in hand as she scrolled through texts before switching to the project requirements.
"Boring, Oof. Super boring," with a sigh, her mind drifted back, This time she'd do things right, be useful, get decent grades. She stopped herself before those thoughts spiralled into something worse.
"Caitlyn Kiramman...What a piltie." Jinx scoffed, She sat quiet for a moment, now tinkering with her sketchbook.
a) Annoy Piltie and reluctanly go by her planning (eugh)
b) Lose 40% of the final grade and do nothing.
c) Ask Vander.
"Hmm..How about none? Gotta go with the safest option."
With that in mind, she made her way out of the roof, downstairs, where she finds her dad cooking dinner, leaning against the stove.
"Watcha cookin'?"
"Your dinner."
"Hmmm...Dadd..."
"Oh no."
"Oh yes."
"How would you react if you got another", Jinx coughs, "complain from Mrs. Suzanna?"
"The self entitled one?"
"Bingo!" She snapped her fingers.
"Alright, kiddo. What's wrong this time?" Vander turned off the heat, giving his full attention to the puzzle before him.
"Ok, so...There's this boring piltie girl and Mrs. Suzanna said we'd have to work together on a project that counts like half of the grade— which is so stupid by the way."
"Hmm..How about you just try? The upper class can be...A bit inconvinient sometimes"
"Oh if they can..."
"My point is—you worked so hard, kiddo. Why give up now, Hmm? You know, I'm already proud of you."
The remark hangs in the air whislt Jinx paused, taking in those words.
"Thanks, dad."
He watched as she wandered back with a small smile, Vander knew Jinx seeked reassuring due to the past events this time however this reassurance was comforting instead of manipulative.
"Ill show him, I'm totally not weak. I can get the best grade."
The day after she doesn't really think much, well, as much as her mind can ground her.
With that said, the next day, She threw the usual into her backpack and made her way towards campus to the library.
To not her surprise, She was already there and as calculated as usual. Caitlyn reserved a quiet space by the window the evening glow hit her sharp features, this time her streaks were messier yet never unpresentable like she'd been there for a while.
With that smug grin of hers, She approached Caitlyn quietly enough so she wouldn't notice her presence until-
"Boo!"
"What-!" Cait turns quickly, only to turn back around at the sight of Jinx, groaning.
"That was immature."
"Goody two shoes." Jinx snickered to herself before plotting on the opposite seat, the farthest away.
"So, Let's make this worth the time."
Time passed by decently smooth, Caitlyn was the most focused and easily irritated one unlike Jinx, this did throw off the balance however the work was getting done which, The two didn't even realize how they grounded each other—Caitlyn looked like she could use a bit of energy anyway.
"Today drained me..."
"Mom, I am home!" Cait made her way down the long hall, to be surprised by Dexter, waiting.
Her beloved Dobermann she'd been taking for a few years now.
She chuckled, a real one. "Hi, Dexter."
"Caitlyn, dear!" Cassandra exclaimed, "How was school?"
"Although it was ordinary there's a particular project that's taking up my mind, Just this...Girl I have to partner up with."
"Oh. Is she giving you trouble?" Oho, that tone.
"Mother, i told you, it's nothing I can't handle."
"Good to know my daughter is living up to her name, Speaking of which, You have a dinner with your patreons this weekend."
"Do keep that in mind." Cassandra added.
Days passed slow and the weeks passed faster, leading closer to the deadline and Jinx and Caitlyn were... Something.
Both got used to meeting at the library, Contrasted work attics but they made it work, reluctantly, Instead of sitting on the opposite side Jinx sat beside as much as she can stand Caitlyn, who instead of frowning at Jinxes erratic remarks—She gave a suppressed laugh.
On the other side...
It felt mandatory—it was really. Caitlyn tried keeping it strictly professional and Jinx who did want to prove she was useful but couldnt bring herself to take it seriously seeing as she was working with a piltie.
Nevertheless the both were able to get something done and more than that, they got used to each others presence and...the less time the closer you get.
The two agreed to stay professional, Just for a project—Whats the worse that can happen—?
"I still don't trust you, you know. I'm doing my part of the project so..Were cool."
"What makes you think I or even you, are supposed to trust each other?"
"Right. Just project partners, I didn't mean anything else. Y'know.."
They would banter in one of their conversations. It was a comfortable routine.
School.
Home.
Library.
And eventually they were.. surprisingly and differently friends? Both wouldn't admit it.
It was difficult really, Caitlyn believed on what she was raised hearing—leading for her to be less aware person but never stupid never, her parents didn't told her about the sad truth, only snippets really, that she pursued to know more about in the time that she wasn't being bombarded with tasks.
The hunger, the social inequality and the deaths—The pointless deaths over street fights, fighting for the rights of the undercity or again just from something to simple like food and water.
Jinx, like the others had a hard life—luckly she was welcomed by her current father who was hardworking enough to get into the academy.
After all they couldn't just put this aside, right?—I mean call it a friendship with two completely different people who barely talked before.
It was surprinsingly nice yet unsuprinsingly hard.
On one of their playful banters, conversation mindlessly flowing, words sometimes slipped—completely normal for someone who's in highschool.
"I mean, You're pretty previledged, No? No wonder you have good grades and everythings perfect for you," She sounded in a genuine tone not a hint of envy.
The wholte thing oddly familiar bringing back the first time they met.
The Kiramman paused carefully choosing her words.
"You dont know my story neither I do yours, This might not mean much to you but I worked very hard to get where I am."
"I..I don't know what you're trying to say here, Caitlyn."
"I'm already doing my part, No? Or is that not enough for you blue blooded pricks?"
The thoughts getting louder.
"You know what since you're competent, Im sure you can do it alone as a matter of fact we don't need to meet in this stupid library anymore." With that, Jinx left, leaving Caitlyn with another issue to gwan at mind.
"So that's what you feel like.."
"What a joke" Maddie snickered,
Phone in hand as she paused the recording before slipping back into the shadows.
How could Caitlyn put this much effort into this...Jinx and no her?
Her persistant mind just couldn't let go.
Well, Seems like they both fucked up.
