I have a lot of favorite Pokémon but Arcanine is another level

Where did Arcanin come from? Did the intelligent races create it like their other languages? and why does it have magical stuff?

These are all very good questions Anon! In world, no one really knows who created Arcanin or why it's used to manipulate magic, but it suspected that it was an offshoot of Leodridic since that is the language it's most simmilar to, especially since they use the same alphabet.

In reality it's actually a language that was created by a god for the express purpose of manipulating magic, and given to mortals as a gift to help them protect themselves from being overwhelmed by monsters. This was so long ago that writing as a concept wasn't around yet, so the origin story was never writen down, and just got lost to time. It's also why Arcanin is written using the leodridic alphabet. The people who wanted to give it a written version just borrowed the alphabet from a language they already knew.

Does MC know arcanin? I've been asuming she does but

Not fluently. She knows individual words, and can usually make out what she's hearing. (Like she interprets what Tzesar says in chapter 4-1), but she wouldn't be familiar enough to use it to write her own spells.
