How to Handle a Time-Space Distortion
How do you survive the nightmare bubble?
First thing: Empty your bag of all nonessential items. That's all the extra crafting materials, random berries, spoiled apricorns and mud balls. There are a lot of rare items inside the TSDs and you should be picking up everything. That is arguably more important than whatever Pokemon is in there.
Secondly, learn the time frame for a TSD. You have a few minutes after the first notification to get over to it before it becomes fully formed. You always have enough time to stop at a camp and unload before going over, no matter where it is on the map.
If you arrive early, find a good place to perch/tall grass to hide in. You have two options when inside a TSD.
Either sit tight and wait for Pokemon to come close to you or haul ass on the Wyrdeer and pick up items.
What happens when you see an alpha or a rare pokemon you haven't registered yet in your Pokédex?
My method of success is very simple. Don't waste your time trying to be sneaky. There are very strong pokemon spawning left and right and they will spot you before you can run. Two hits from pokemon in a TSD and you are unconscious.
Either the one pokemon you want is in a herd of 4 other pokemon, or it's alone. Regardless, just start a battle. By this point, you should know to have a strong pokemon first in your party that can take a couple hits.
Make sure you have your target set to the pokemon you want. Use zL to change targets while in battle.
Play it old school and either whittle its HP down with a combined status effect or start by just throwing a ball. I always have ultra and heavy balls on me and I usually start a battle by throwing a ball and seeing if I can just catch whatever it is first. This method has given me a 99% success rate.
One of three things can happen: catch, defeat or run. Fun part about this game is that (outside of the rare battle with another human) you can literally run away from anything at anytime. Just turn around and run. If you're faced with a 5x1 battle surrounded by ridiculous pokemon, just run. If you're about to black out, you have enough time to leave the bubble and come back and try again.
If you black out while in a TSD, it will be gone when you wake up, just like all the items you picked up inside the bubble.
Lastly, get the star piece recipe from town and start crafting them asap. They use all the shards you pick up in TSDs and they sell for $5k a piece.
They are actually dubbing the Arceus specials. I am genuinely surprised.
Spoiler for the Arceus, the One Called God special ahead...
