me on the other hand - im fucking hilarious

my mum and i were having a discussion about my need to talk to people to get design ideas. but considering the pandemic, it isnt possible to have that sort of contact, so she said that i should talk to myself like i was another person.

me: or i should imagine a fictional character and talk to them

mum: yes! great idea.

me, giggling: but imagine, in 10 years, i have an interview about my designs:

interviewer: all of your projects are so interesting and innovative. how do you get such interesting ideas?

me: i talk to harry potter about it

interviewer: ...what?

my mum almost had a car crash bcs she started crying

she fully supports me talking to pottah about my plans. would he understand them on the other hand? no. absolutely not.

im so happy im finally surrounded by people who also want to live in a gothic castle somewhere in Europe while the local villagers think they're vampires/witches

it's also interesting that they are all from the same faculty (architecture)
