why do i imagine the batfam finally meeting the league and then one of them going 'how the fuck do you have so many kids?' and little shit Jason goes 'well, when two people love each other very much...' and because Bruce doesn't wanna listen to this, he tiredly reminds Jason: 'you're adopted' which naturally means that Jason is going to dramatically pretend that this is the first time he's heard that and how could Bruce keep this from him, much to the horror of the league and the exasperation of Bruce

i love Athena trying to convince Hera to let Odysseus go, bc all the other gods had grievances against him she could correct but Hera is just putting on her listening ears and going: Okay, baby, I'm listening, please convince me, what makes this dude so good :)

And of course she tries things she finds important as a goddess of war and strategy, mentioning his mind and his talking skills, but Hera remains unimpressed.

So then she just goes fuck, fuck, what do people who are interested in romance like in others??? Uhhhhh... he's kinda funny? Also doesn't work.

And only then does she go, oh wait, Hera likes one specific thing about relationships, loyalty, luckily for Odysseus, I can tell her that he is. #Win. And i love that for her, she's such a dork xp

Batman having a recording of a heartbeat softly play in his suit so that Superman thinks he has two hearts to throw him off his scent because he's paranoid, but then one day it breaks and Superman freaks out, because "Batman where did your other heartbeat go?!!?!" and Bruce panics and says: "I split into two," like he's some sort of cryptid and everyone goes ???, luckily he has Robin to introduce them to. It's not until much later when they all reveal their identities that they learn that it's not true and all the bats and birds that are running around were not parts that ripped free from Batman. Though not before the whole family has had a whole lot of fun creating nonsense rumors just to fuck with people.

Absolutely insane that if you take the intended canon ages for Roy (38) and Jamie (23) in season 1 and the fact that Roy debuted in the Prem at 17, that Roy debuted when Jamie was 2 years old. Like you know he's going to have a fucking crises about that when he does that math one day. Hell, Sam turns 20 in season 1, meaning he wasn't even born yet. Like did Roy ever realize that? Does he knows this information?

I think it's so clever the way Athena plays into Hephaestus's own issues in convincing him to let Odysseus go, because he first identifies himself with the crew, sacrificed, cast aside, but Athena reframes it to make him identify with Odysseus, who was betrayed by his crew, the people he was supposed to trust, which plays into his emotions surrounding his own toss from mount Olympus. Then she puts Odysseus into a sphere with people who love him, who want to build a future with him, implying that those that are betrayed also still have people in their corner, people who love them; that Hephaestus has people that love him too. It's so fun how much thought is put into each brief interaction in God Games
