Iam missing Italy a lot lately, but in about three weeks iam travelling again to beautiful Florence. And iam so looking forward.

These Sketches are from my last visits.

Holy mother of lemons, I struggled so much with these architecture practices. 

Never again with Indian/Moorish/Islamic/Arabic architecture. The details will kill me...

For those interested my references are: Alhambra Palace in Granada Spain (featuring Kalim and an imagined body of water) and Brihadeeswara Temple in Thanjavur, India (featuring Jamil from an angle that probably doesn’t actually exist in the temple)

I’ve done similar sets with Octavinelle, Ignihyde, and another with Savanaclaw

Day 17 out of 100 days of productivity.

After aaaaall that hard work i can now confidently say, my professor said i had to do it again, architecture student life in a nutshell.

L'église Saint-Jacques-du-Haut-Pas est située dans le 5e arrondissement, à mi-chemin entre le jardin du Luxembourg et l'église du Val-de-Grâce. Construite en 1603 sur l'emplacement d'une église antérieure devenue trop petite, elle surprend par son éclairage très vif et son voûtement particulier, qui alterne coupole et voûtes. La chapelle d'axe, consacrée à la Vierge, reçoit au XIXe siècle un décor néogothique que je trouve particulièrement réussi. C'est peut être dû à la teinte du bleu, à la grâce des anges, ou alors au mariage harmonieux du décor peint et des boiseries en partie inférieure.

Applying set research to the site: Church Lane Park

Going back to the site, after research on Hitchcock's "Rear Window", I started sketching the domestic environment, trying to apply the cinematographic camera techniques seen in the movie scenes.

The built environment is treated as a character which can be deconstructed to derive the characteristics of the protagonist.

The window here seats as a transition between knowledge and ignorance through voyeurism. It can be seen as the "screen" separating the protagonist from the audience in cinema. The motion of the character and the stillness of the audience is then put in opposition through the frame and the smart user of light.

Tomorrow is my final, the truly last presentation of my B.Arch degree studies.

And it is a Grasshopper code for a Hamster Maze Generator.
