I wrote this as a request for someone and tumblr fucking lost it but It’s peter parker having an appreciation for the arc reactor
Peter stood at the entrance of the lab, staring at Tony who had his attention turned to a new palladium spec for the Arc Reactor. “Hey” Peter smiled picking up the original Arc Reactor. Tony looked up from the hologram and over to Peter “Hey, what’re you looking at?” Peter shrugged and turned around holding the box with the original Arc “Proof that Tony Stark has a heart” He read out, tracing the inscription on the gold plaque glued to the glass box. Tony huffed “Yeah, Pepper gave me that when I got back from Afghanistan. Didn’t even know it was still here to be honest” Peter smiled “It’s pretty” He whispered, Tony raised an eyebrow “Really? Kid, if that’s your idea of pretty It’s gonna be so easy to top that” Peter giggled, fucking giggled, “Yeah, but, this,” Peter spoke stepping closer to Tony and letting his hands trace Tony's newer reactor “This, is gorgeous” Tony’s breath hitched as Peters hands circled the scars around the blue light. “Peter” He whispered softly, putting an arm behind Peters back. “It truly is. It’s keeping you alive and it’s a fucking beauty.” Tony looked down at his boyfriend to see the blue light perfectly accentuating his features. He lifted peter chin up softly and kissed him It was a long kiss. A kiss that tasted like hope and love. Kissing Peter was different from kissing Pepper. Pepper was more rough, full of hatred. But Peters? Peters were soft, delicate and full of love. Peter tasted like strawberry's and vanilla. And that, is how Tony knew he loved Peter. Not just the kiss, but the fact that Peter loved all of Tony. Even the parts that Tony hated about himself. Peter truly loved everything about Tony. Even the reactor that pushed most people away, seemed to draw Peter in. Peter was some soft of Angel that came to Tony by pure fucking luck and Tony wouldn’t have it any other way.
