What's your opinion of this idea: AFO isn't Inko's husband Hisashi. He's Inko and Hisashi's Third. He went missing then Izuku was six, when he was potatofied, and they were heartbroken when their spouse vanished.
No no but this is an entirely different level of hilarious. Cause just imagine Izuku telling All Might that he has 3 parents but one of his dad’s went missing when he was little and it was really heartbreaking and tragic for everyone.
And then All Might gets to see like one of those cutesy family-themed pictures they did and it’s adorable baby Izuku, the lovely Inko, the handsome but mild-looking Hisashi he’s never met, and FUCKING ALL FOR ONE
The staring contest, Fox knew, could last for hours. Obi-Wan was not the sort to give in, no matter how right Fox might be.
Still, he spent another five minutes, narrowing his eyes more and more as it went on, before he finally gave up and looked away, with a disgusted grumble.
“This is reckless and ridiculous and you know it.”
“It’s the most thorough way to fix the problem. The problem that you, inadvertently as it may have been, created.” Obi-Wan, tilted his head, smugness radiating off of him.
Fox bared his teeth, Obi-Wan simply giving a slow blink in amusement. “I could always go find another, of course. The Senate is packed full of--”
“No,” he growled.
Obi-Wan made an interested noise, leaning closer. “No?”
“I’m not letting you bond with someone from the Senate.”
Tookas were known for being adorable and it was particularly annoying how adorable Obi-Wan still looked when he was so self-satisfied.
“Get over here, I’m not doing all the work by myself.”
“Such a grumpy witch,” Obi-Wan muttered, even as he jumped up not just on the table that Fox had motioned to, but onto his shoulder. “You clearly need help relaxing.”
“I sincerely doubt that will come from you.”
The purr was almost like a chuckle, rumbling against the side of Fox’s face. “You haven’t even gotten to see my human form, yet.”
I know very little about the Nasuverse outside of a specific thing but I'm going to guess that Fionn and the rest of the Celts would like the feral bard and fae-warlock students *far* more than any modern mages except for Waver. They're so excited and passionate about their style in a way that is based in 'Causing Problems On Purpose' for Clocktower instead of the more typical arrogance and pride. Especially if one really does serve Brigid.
If you served Brigid you would automatically get mad respect from all of them but especially Medb. Brigid is her idol
What do you think of the idea of a villain showering a hero with praise and compliments to mess with their head, and meaning every word, in addition to making it harder for the hero to stand firm in their loyalties because only the villain consistently says good things about them?
Nyx/Ace, home-feeling Galahdian stew/soup, making out on the couch after dinner
There’s a stew on the stove, warm and inviting and something Nyx had learned from his mother.
There’s stew on the stove and Ace has a blanket wrapped around his shoulders to ward off the almost nonexistent chill in the air. If there is one thing to be grateful for, Ace thinks, it’s that he had saved up enough money to buy their friends and family a comfortable home. The apartments on top of the bar Ace owns are spacious and inviting, and none of the occupants mind the odd hours everyone keeps.
Largely, because they keep odd hours themselves.
But there is a roof over their heads, food on the stove and Ace has his husband curled into the curve of his body.
Ace hums mindlessly and wraps an arm around Nyx.
“Stews not done,” Nyx mumbles into the crook of Ace’s neck and presses a lingering, opened mouth kiss there.
“I know,” Ace says, “There’s nothing wrong with a small meal before dinner is there?”
1) Aine remembers a life surrounded by dogs. Maybe that’s why, when she finds the tiny mutt cowering away from a behemoth she’s hunting, she saves it. she’ll leave it in the shelter in town.
2) The dog follows her, limping heavily, as she - slowly - makes her way back to the tipster. It barks when it’s hungry, curls up nearby (getting closer and closer) when she stops for food or sleep, and dogs her footsteps utterly despite it’s own injured leg. She refuses to admit that she’s slowed her pace so it can keep up
3) She only takes it to the vet because it would be rude to drop an obviously injured dog on the shelter
4) The dog does not go to a shelter
5) It’s over a month before she realises she’s already named the thing, calling out a sharp “Sparrow!” when the dog had gotten too close to a pack of voretooth. Aine tells herself she’s only keeping her around because she whines when daemons are close, it’s a good early warning system
6) She takes her to Hammerhead the next time she visits. Cindy loves her. Aine starts leaving her there when she has hunts. Sparrow likes to curl up on Cid’s lap when he’s in his chair but she sleeps in Aine’s bed.
7) Her phone is full of pictures of Sparrow. She blames Cindy.

I enjoy your reasoning. I personally HC the title 'King' in Lucian as being gender neutral, but it /not/ starting as that and throwing a lot of nobles off balance when women were chosen by Bahamut to be king is neat.
Thanks!
You know, when the gender neutral term for the ruling monarch is ‘King’ then the term for the spouse must be ‘Queen’. I spit my tea out at that thought, it’s so funny.
The first time that happened must’ve been hilarious.
You know, I imagine the whole Bahamut choosing a monarch, or King if we go with that as a gender neutral term, going a bit like this:
The Lucis Caelum family plus witnesses stand in front of the crystal. The people were convinced that Creperas uncle - let’s call him... Lemuros - would be king, because until now it’s always been the males in the family who got to rule. Also, Bahamut until now has always approved the one the king chose as his heir.
But.
But there is the prophecy.
And Crepera is actually one of the thirteen chosen Lucii to help the Chosen King.
(Bahamut had to make away with her brother, who was heir before her as is ancient right, because he was older than her.)
So they all stood in front of the crystal. Lemuros and Crepera the only Lucis Caelums left alive and everbody expecting Lemuros to be chosen as he stepped in front of the crystal.
But nothing happened.
Then the crystal came alive with energy that sounded like a thousand swords being drawn and Bahamut spoke: “All hail the new King. All hail Crepera Lucis Caelum.”
