Moe face perked up as soon as he heard a voice. He turned his head to see the source from where it came. What he saw appeared to be a tall human wearing horns and wings. Halloween must’ve come early if someone is already dressed as a bat demon. Joe was probably too busy to tell him about it, he should really get his costume ready after this.

He then thought about how to greet the stranger, and decided that a simple hello would do. Nothing special, just a simple wave of the hand and a super short greeting. Maybe from this he can get better with his speaking.

Moe waved back in a nervous manner. “Umm... hi.”

“Why are we doing this again?” Sandy asked as he held the stack of fliers in his hands. “Don’t we have class in an hour, Elise? It’s going to take me at least thirty minutes to get there from here.”

“The boss said that she wanted to promote a new upper wing or something to the public. I guess to bring in more revenue or whatever.”

“....we have a boss? And what is this new wing?” Sandy asked as the purple hedgehog grabbed a few of the fliers from the top. He took a glance at the fliers and frowned. Yeah he still couldn’t see anything. “Also, don’t forget that you have class too!” he argued.

She shrugged and started calling out, “come one, come all to the Chao Garden over on Main and....Maine! Where we have a new section of the building opening up so check it out!”

“Really? That’s the name of the intersection it’s at?” Like he would know where it’s at.

“Shush!” Elise said as she kept on handing out the fliers.

“Good afternoon. It is a lovely day, is it not?”

She was sitting on a bench, reading a book. It seemed only proper to give a new face a proper greeting. She’d never seen this person before, so she bookmarked her book, and offered a smile. It was only right to make someone feel welcome in an area they  may not be used to. Though for all she knew, she was the stranger here.

Who was to say?

“I do hope it does not rain. It looks a little bit like it wants to.”

Klug peeked up over the top of his spellbook to watch. He knew this band. He hadn’t spent much of his time recently listening to music that was popular among the other students at Primp, but he knew these band members were very famous with their magic and Puyo skills.

Maybe if the moment arose he could ask for an autograph.
