hi hi!! ive been meaning to ask, any updates on nocturne smp?? i havent seen anything on it for a bit

Hi hi! First of all I'd like to thank everyone for being so patient and understanding with me, it's been really helpful in motivating me to move forwards with this project and I am endlessly grateful for it <3

That being said, due to some outstanding health issues, some personal problems, the spring semester starting, and some other factors, I have given up control of creating the Discord server, further vetting of Nocturne SMP applicants, and sending forth invitations to my co-owner of Nocturne SMP, who I have welcomed onto the mod team <3. I will be handling custom map building, paying for the server, and setting up the plugin and running any custom code we may create at Nocturne SMP as well as some other odd-ends and such.

However! My co-owner has stated that pup is not comfortable with answering questions to the public nor acting as a messenger to the public about the progress we at Nocturne SMP are making, and so I will still be standing as the "face" of Nocturne SMP, that is, answering questions about progress and chatting with the applicants and any potential fans.

Right now it's looking that as soon as the Discord Server is up and applications are sent out, we may or may not have some trial runs of "Nocturne in Oakhurst" to see how well the group meshes with one another, to verify that the server runs correctly, and to give me time to make a custom map, which is something that I haven't done before. Regardless, things are going smoothly, it's just that these things take time.

Several people have already rescinded their applications, and we encourage people that have lost interest to please contact me, as that saves me a lot of trouble.

I encourage anyone that has experience with custom map building or coding/altering plugins and who would like to offer their help or advice to contact me at mrspaceoddity on Discord or message me on here.

hello!! i heard you guys have been receiving a lot of hate recently and i just wanted to come by and say that i think that's really stupid. and also then yell positive things!!! because you guys deserve to hear them!!!!!!

tamn is a great fic!! that i really really enjoy!!!!! i read it for the first time pretty recently but ive already gone back and started rereading it again. because im entirely normal. and i dont go back and reread fics just because very often... so. like. augh.

for one, it's given me the insatiable desire (like a zombie haha) to find more well-written zombie apocalypse au fics, and, genuinely, i havent found one on par with tamn. not saying that any of the other ones i've read are bad, per se, they're just. not the same?? you guys really really really nailed the worldbuilding and atmosphere!!! and youve single-handedly turned me into a zombie for well-written zombie apocalypse stories!!

and the way you write the characters is just. it's. AUGH. there have been multiple times when reading that ive had the compulsion to reach through my computer screen and strangle one of the characters. or give them a hug. or both. strangle-hug.

i know hate and criticism hits like ten times harder then praise for your work and shit (ive been there too)... but. i freaking love tamn. it genuinely is one of my favorite fics ive ever read, and i think you guys are incredible authors. and you should also be allowed to punch any haters in the face. <3

Wahhh, when people say they're rereading TAMN it's sooo nice to hearrr :") It's an absolute beast of a fic to read the FIRST go around--reading it AGAIN is wild, thank you so much!
