LAST ONE FOR NOW @b1asho
I think Tui and Merad were the first ones I designed?
Tui is an Arasit Muttreazik who grew up in a multi-species orphanage with a lot of hexapods and hexapod media, so its brain worm decided that it also needed to be a hexapod. It has many other friends, including other Kixeli, but its BFF since early childhood is Merad, a Prectikar. It loves to climb on Merad, and Merad loves to be climbed on. They play a lot of video games, and maybe make a career of it? Idk Tui can't really glide and I'll never draw its patterns the same but it paints itself all the time so w/e
Tiger is here again, alongside their siblings, Metrodora and Berossus (their parents probably also named Tiger after an ancient scientist but they like the silly nickname better). Fun fact: their stripes aren't from the Muttreazik changes but from residual splice genes.
Tiger uses their Mancer abilities and big cat muscles to do building/demo work. Dora doesn't use her Conduit abilities much, focusing instead on legal work to improve treatment of and accessibility for Muttreazik, especially those with less congruent bioplans. Bero does something I'm sure but I dunno what yet lmao
Lucanis Week #4: Weapon | Demon | Talon
Back with one of my favorite fills for this week, largely because it's based off of an idea I've had kicking around in my one-shot notes that I decided to migrate over here, after pivoting on this fill a few times (my initial idea was...too insubstantial, and the first pivot I made wasn't working either).
Today had three prompts, but I'm doing these in pairs, so I've kicked out "Demon." For now. It'll be back later this week.
Tenebroso: Chapter 4
Note: The first half of this fill takes place shortly after Lucanis's first successful magekilling contract. He isn't the "Demon of Vyrantium" yet.
Snippet:
Caterina didn’t look up from the papers in front of her as she skimmed them, her mouth pinched in a permanent frown, spectacles perched on the end of her hooked nose. Her gnarled but still deft fingers jotted notes on a small notepad with a gilded pen. Her back sat ramrod straight. Lucanis’s back ached. The mage had gotten a lucky shot off on him—several, in fact—and it was only by grace of Illario’s presence that Lucanis wasn’t a smear of ash on the wall of a warehouse in Bastion. He owed his cousin the success of the contract. Owed him his very life, even. But House Dellamorte boasted only one magekiller.

Working on that fancy PDF-to-print version of Smoke and Mirrors as I edit the chapters (I'm up through chapter five) and this part looks so good with more formatting freedom.
Someone uploaded a shockingly high def version of Ranma 1/2 so I reread it a little. I’ve never seen it in this quality. My own physical copies are mirrored and for some reason the lettering is handwritten 😂
