so this summer i had the amazing oppertunity to join @lightgreyartgallery on their iceland art camp. it was an absolutly incredible week in an amazing setting with some of the most wonderful people. seriously- i cannot express what a great expereince this was and would HIGHLY recommend applying for one of their trips.  here’s some airport/airplane sketches from the journy out there!

Flying

Stuck in a box.

Nowhere to go for a few hours.

Only time life has a clear direction.

Left alone with thoughts.

Pondering elusive mysteries.

Staring out with limited sight.

Yet maybe seeing more than ever.

Perhaps battle a demon or two.

Break to dream a moment.

Hopefully it’s a beautiful moment to come.

Sometimes there is a fear lurking beneath.

Others there’s a sense of peace.

Nerves and jitters may pop up.

Giddiness spreading like giggle water through the veins.

Anxious to go faster.

Ready to go.
