I plan to structure this in a way where y'all would have perfect instructions for how to produce a video based on my knowledge of horror projects. I've had a lifelong interest in horror content but my family is extremely low income and I am disabled, making it hard for me to get out and make the content I'd like. I still want to see some of it get made, so I've decided to make the ideas free to use for anyone who has the time, money, and skills, but doesn't have an idea that feels right.
I will give detailed instructions for most, but I'll also make shorter posts for more general concepts.
You are absolutely free to use this in videos, I do not mind or expect anything in return if you end up monetized. The only thing I want is credit for the idea so more people can find this page.
Fair warning: I do not consent to any of my posts being used by AI whatsoever. No generating them into pictures, audio, or videos, no programming them into your models. If you use my ideas for AI slop, you are fully going against my consent and stealing from somebody who just wants to help out fellow artists. If I find out you'll be blocked.
AI is not an art form. I'm sorry, I know it feels like an amazing tool, I understand that learning art is frustrating and AI looks good enough that it feels satisfying for somebody who isn't at the point they wanna be at yet. But in my mind, when I see you use AI I'm watching a perfectly capable and talented individual miss out on the opportunity to feel genuine pride for their work in the future all because it's easier to ask a robot to create a far worse version of it for surface level pleasure. I don't want to watch you waste both of our talent on something that has no soul and uses artists' work without consent.
This account was literally partially made as an alternative to AI because I have seen AI "ARGs" recently and felt beyond sad and disappointed. I've considered doing this in the past but the increased usage of AI in horror projects was the final push I needed.
Genuine artists are welcome to use it, though. You don't need to be good at art, I just don't want these ideas to never see the light of day.
